How did Golovkin and Sanchez fool so many people?

Gotta admit they ran a good con. "Anyone from 154-168", "Mexican style", "he bullies heavyweights in sparring", "he’s the best middleweight of all time", "Canelo wouldn't make it past 8" etc.

And boxing fans ate it up lmao. Fangirls like boliodogs and bigdramashow really thought he was better than Marvin Hagler.

So what happened when G finally stepped up in comp? Gets his ass kicked and even loses his "mexican style". suddenly he’s “old” now.

Having watched the rise and fall of Duran, Hagler, Tyson, etc, I knew Golovkin was never on that level. Even back then I could see that his movement was stiff and robotic, his "mexican style" seemed unnatural and forced. His defense was always questionable.

The fact that he refused to ever move 1lb up or down in weight should have been a major red flag.

Of course, Sanchez and his team knew this all along and they made millions off gullible fans.

But, why didn't more boxing fans see through their ruse?

They sure fooled a lot of people. Specially the best MW's of 2010-2016 who didn't want to fight him. Including Canelo, Cotto, BJS, Martinez, Jacobs, Eubank jr, etc. All easy belts to take and they didn't want to take them until he was 36 years old.

Lara and Ward wanted GGG from day one. "too much for me" says GGG. Martinez was shot and Cotto was a 150lber gtfo with that BS.

Little Canelo moving up from 154 kicked GGG's ass.

36 isn't old when he hasn't ever been in a real fight.

Wasn't Floyd 36 when he schooled Canelo?

He fought GGG in 2016 you tard, he was moving up from 154 at the time.

Coward G could have never made 154 dude wouldn't even go to 157 for Brook.

GGG never made a single concession in his career.

It's pathetic how GGG fanboys always need to lie to cover up the truth.

                  1. He fought GGG in 2017 and 2018.
                  2. He was the reigning WBC, Ring, and Lineal middleweight champion when he fought GGG in 2017. He moved back down to 154 to win another belt but he was already well established at 160.
                  3. His fight immediately prior to GGG was a catchweight at 164 against Chavez.

In 2016 he threw away his WBC title to wait out the aging GGG a little more.

One trip to BoxRec could've saved you the embarrassment.
