Sorry, but this heavyweight era is pretty bad

Wilder beaten like a dog when fighting Fury as a defending WBC champion

Ruiz doing nothing in a rematch, losing 12 -0 in rounds to Joshua, as a defending champion.

Kownacki , "top PBC prospect" stopped in 4th round by Helenius.

Ortiz, Sanchez, Zhang, Hrgovic fighting bums in fights nobody cares about.

Usyk - Chisora is actually the best hw fight we have seen recently.

Sorry, but this era is pretty bad. I mean, it has a potential. But contenders and fringe contenders must start fighting each other.

No worry. On November 28, the winner of Tyson vs RJJ will be back to rule the division.

          I must admit , no.

I rather watch other divisions, to be honest.

And yes the division only made a comeback because of the UK/Hearn/AJ. Not even Fury beating Wlad made much of a fanfare, it was all Hearn and AJ. People like Ruiz and Parker were considered fodder with people only recognising Fury, Wlad and AJ as he was gaining experience.

I remember the good old days. Notice how all of the guys we consider 'contenders' now were nothing before facing AJ, but now they are considered 'world class'. That's promotion for you, sorta like how everyone Loma faced was hyped up. "He beat THE Nicholas Walters. THE Jason Sosa". Lots of boxers only have 'somebodies' on their resume because they were made out to be "somebodies" to build up a fight, so in reality they are writing history as it happens.

Yes, can we not go back to the great days when Tyson was knocking out bums before meeting his match in Buster, and prime Rid**** Bowe was getting battered by Golota twice. Or who can forget prime Lennox Lewis' stunning performance in beating Ray Mercer 96-95 when everyone thought he lost, or one of Holyfield's 50 defeats.

You forgot Muhammad Ali shocking the world by regaining his alphabet trinket in the rematch with ATG Leon Spinks.

i think its the best division in boxing, what youve listed mainly is a bunch of pbc no hopers who noone cares about. a lot of the top fighters are still fighting each other, weve had povetkin/whyte, usyk/chisora recently and weve got dubois/joyce coming up. joshua always fights top opponents, fury too. obviously wilder is ****e but thats the guy people wanted him to fight, and he did and he beat him like a small child
