Exactly when he got knocked out by Crawford he was really going after it and with Tank he had one leg and lasted 12 . Gamboa just didn't engage tonight the way he normally does credit to Haney .Haney isn't a big puncher & his style isn't for everyone but lets give Gamboa some credit his chin likely isn't as bad as perceived. A lot of his knockdowns have been more his total disregard for defense & he's got up & won a lot of those fights. I mean he did survive 11 with Tank and tbf to him he seemed to be going down more from only having one leg than actually being hurt.
He shouldn't have been expected to do better than Tank in the first place. It was a bit of a no win for him.
He dominated and got 12 good rounds. Sure a knockdown or two would have been nice but still it was practically punch perfect against a highly seasoned vet who knows how too survive.Comment

Once Ryan beats Luke, you HAVE to place him higher than Haney. I place him there already, but I hope stans like you can face the truth after that win. Haney is in last place. He might lose to Tank right now maybe even Teo but there is no hype about this kid, he's a special talent.
No idea why Ryan Garcia is even mentioned with these 3 as of right now he's not fought anywhere near the level of the others and there is certainly nothing special about a fighter who can't even tuck their chin in.Comment

Disappointed with this card by DAZN. Also disappointed with the PBC card. Give me one compelling fight on the card, even if it is two average fighters that are evenly matched.
A fight card of mismatches, Booker cashed out against Hrgovic. I will say that the Croatian fighter looked the most athletic and least robotic I've seen him yet.
Haney beat a disinterested Gamboa. I didn't like how Devin allowed the Cuban to tie up. Just a lackluster affair.Comment

Maybe Haney simply doesn't punch as hard as they do. That's ok, not everyone has the one hitter-quitter. I do think that Haney still has a bit more maturing to do, maybe some extra strength would've helped him keep Gamboa from clinching. Teo has faced his test, and Ryan will face his soon.
I'd like to see Haney vs. Verdejo.Comment
