Can't blame Tank, he's just doing what he's told.
Facing the music? What music is that? This PPV did just fine.

No chance these PPV numbers are accurate. I've noticed that mainly since the days of Golovkin vs Canelo and talks between Wilder vs Joshua where PPV numbers were a heavy consideration for purse splits, all of a sudden you started seeing these hugely inflated PPV numbers mainly from PBC. Tank and Leo are attractions yes, but 300k? He's already at 2013/2014 Canelo PPV level during a pandemic where a large number of people need financial assistance and after months of a dip in boxing events due to the pandemic and in his first PPV for $75? No way that's true. And it's not just him either, these ridiculous PPV numbers have been a trend lately. I believe HBO and Showtime pre-PBC actually produced accurate numbers, you never saw numbers even close to this for the kind of fighters who have been producing them lately. And so now for any crossover fight, they can say look at my guys numbers, he deserves a much larger purse like we saw with Spence and Wilder. Honestly, I'd simply say accurate PPV numbers are a thing of the past and we can simply assume that viewing numbers for apps like DAZN or ppv numbers will largely be kept private. At least until these so called PPV numbers have some form of actual verification which I doubt will ever happen.

Initial reports are over 200k to 225k. Not sure where you are getting 300k from. And Tank was #1 in google trends the night of the fight. He also does much better ratings than anyone else on SHO and his live gate against Gamboa surpassed 2M....Which not many fighters can do stateside.

Progais has a fanbase. Not a huge one, almost a 100K on IG, but still has a following.

I think that's about what Floyd's first fights were at?

Great numbers. Sold out the place...Great Times.

              Tank is a big draw.

That's pretty much my take on these inflated ppv #'s as well, although its reported that tank vs leo is "trending" at 200k but regardless they can just throw **** out their without any factual data to support it. Still haven't released the buys for the charlo bill and I suspect they never will.

It did 200k-225k buys and the Charlo twins did 100k-120k buys...

Yeah, I'm sure the PBC/Showtime execs are pleased lmao
