Not sure about that, I remember the Barrera, Morales, Pac, Marquez fights at 122-130lbs all hitting the 300k region. Naseem Hamed was a freak.

All things considered these numbers are not bad at all for a first outing

225k ppv sales for your 1st one isn’t bad. Then the viral ko should only help boost sales of the next fight.

Makes me think Russell will be his next fight. I can see that fight doing 300k depending on how much promotional push they give it.

          Wasn’t?
          PPV?
          Material?

Tank was built by Floyd to become a PPV attraction. Selling out crowd in the Gamboa fight already indicated that he’s ready and ripe as an attraction after years of babysitting.

Let’s not pretend that LSC has no large Mexican following. LSC’s drawing power has been leeched by Tank the same way. Mikey’s drawing power was leeched by Spence. So both Davis and Spence are now draws courtesy to the Mexican followers.

And please post the Pac-Bradley PPV numbers and let’s see how it did a LITTLE better. I can sense agenda in here. Please don’t try to paint a picture in here that is not

I don't believe any of these numbers unless industry acknowledges the pull from Mexican buy subscriptions. Texas has a bigger pool of fan buy rate than Maryland. I can't see how Tank could do better than the Charlos combined. Therefore, what's the difference? Again, Al Haymon's exploitation from the Mexican fanbase. That was the reason behind Spence vs Mikey. Or if you don't believe that, why would Texas fans from Spence not buy two Charlo fights and surpass the Mikey numbers? Again, Mikey and LSC is the angle that Haymon uses to boost the branding for the black fighters. That's all fine, and industry can instigate who pulls what since they don't even report on demographical theory. They let fans do that, and that's why most fans from PBC don't like to acknowledge that it's the Mexican pull that pushes the numbers.

Still, I think Coppinger is pushing fake numbers.

If Haymon really wants to save Deontay Wilder with Showtime or Fox ratings then he'll have to risk it and match Wilder with Andy Ruiz. Haymon ain't about that life.

Glad to know that I’m not the only one who noticed this. The worst part is, they draw from Mexican fans even though they’re mismatches. I can’t believe how it’s easy to fool

Ideally Santa Cruz had the meritocracy for A side, or 50/50 split at most even though Cruz should’ve been given the bigger piece of the pie. But since LSC loves Al Haymon he would easily bend over to being B side or allowing TMT to earn equal or more based on his fans.

SOURCES and EXPECTED. When it's Showtime you usually have to atleast halve it to get close to the real number. They love to send out over inflated rumours and let ppl chew on that rather than release actual numbers.

What does “drawing power has been leeched” even mean? How many ppv fights did Santa Cruz have before Tank? How many did Garcia have before Spence? If these guys are the draws then why no ppv fights before?
