I have no issue acknowledging that these interracial fights are beneficial to all fighters and it’s mainly because fans are racist. There’s a reason you didn’t answer my questions. If Mexicans are this huge draw on their own, then why aren’t Mexican vs Mexican fights big on ppv? Can you even name a Mexican vs Mexican ppv fight of note outside of canelo-JR?

Actually, I give Floyd alot of credit if not the most of it. He knows how to groom a PPV star without risking him against tough competition. He knows how to exploit other fighter’s popularity and use them to build his fighter’s marketability.

Tank Davis is a living example of how to make a PPV superstar without fighting the best competition around. Can’t accuse Floyd himself of that but Tank is a living proof.

Mexicans vs Mexicans can draw. We’ve seen that before. See Barrera-Marquez and Barrera-Morales, etc. They just need good and competitive match-making between rising stars and they’d draw fans.

Neither LSC and Mikey had those kind of matches, that’s why they never had PPV fights. Their fault they avoided competition too.

I don't believe any of these numbers unless industry acknowledges the pull from Mexican buy subscriptions. Texas has a bigger pool of fan buy rate than Maryland. I can't see how Tank could do better than the Charlos combined. Therefore, what's the difference? Again, Al Haymon's exploitation from the Mexican fanbase. That was the reason behind Spence vs Mikey. Or if you don't believe that, why would Texas fans from Spence not buy two Charlo fights and surpass the Mikey numbers? Again, Mikey and LSC is the angle that Haymon uses to boost the branding for the black fighters. That's all fine, and industry can instigate who pulls what since they don't even report on demographical theory. They let fans do that, and that's why most fans from PBC don't like to acknowledge that it's the Mexican pull that pushes the numbers.

Still, I think Coppinger is pushing fake numbers.

If Haymon really wants to save Deontay Wilder with Showtime or Fox ratings then he'll have to risk it and match Wilder with Andy Ruiz. Haymon ain't about that life.
