I wouldn't say that about Floyd or Manny, both of whom have had in my opinion better careers than Roy.
Yea Roy's prime was just otherworldly, no adversity at all since he was way better than everyone else. Floyd and Manny fought better fighters in their careers who were a lot closer to their level than Roy's opponents to his. In the long run Floyd and Manny developed a skillset to deal with any situation in the ring, they can fight going forward, backward, they can be behind on the scorecards, they can get cut, they can get hurt but they still managed to come back and win. Roy never had to do that and when the time came, it was too late since the physical declined too much as well.

I dont think there is anything between them as far as elite boxing goes only Roy had power give Floyd his PBF power at WW and its a game changer.

      Both great fighters .
Floyd never lost his power as he went up, he just lost his hands.

His hands couldn't hold up so he had to fight a more conservative style and use pillow gloves too to protect his hands.

        Yes definitely a major factor.

Believe me there are no pillow gloves in a professional boxing match thats fan talk by people thats never been hit by one, gloves are a little different but none are pillows when they land on your face lol.

Nope, several belts Roy didn't go after. And of course there was what happened with the WBC belt because Roy didn't want to fight Nunn.

Why I said Floyd was more talented is because, unlike Roy, Floyd was able to adapt and use his skill/IQ to win fights as he ages. Roy had nothing left after his athleticism left him.

If we should talk about fighting, Floyd had a better fighting instinct which I translate into talent. His IQ and skill were better. Floyd was able to adapt and beat quality fighters on his skill and IQ. After Roy's athleticism left him he really had nothing left.

I think we disagree on what talent is. I believe talent to be God given ability. You seem to be tying it into skill and iq which is something that can be developed. For example, I don't think Hopkins was super talented but he developed great skill and iq. I don't think Roy had a bad iq but he more heavily relied in his natural talent (which includes athletiscm) to win fights.

So Roy is coming back because of the "WBC Frontline Battle Belt."

Sure Roy, nothing to do with the $10 million purse.....
