Boxing should've never took its stars off of network TV.

UFC now owns the young/niche fighting crowd.
UFC isn't even niche any more dude. they got the rock walking people out for fights, the president in the crowd.

    It's like men vs kids

Yeah I’ve got into MMA gradually over the last few years to the point where now I’m legit fan. It’s great because I now have another sport that gets me as pumped as boxing.

UFC cards are fantastic. Great promotion, the commentary is respectful to all fighters, not everyone is considered a bum unless they’re undefeated etc which is a nice change.

        I’m definitely into the specialists.

Only thing I don’t like is when sometimes you get fights that you feel should be 5 rounds and there 3. Romero vs Costa for example.

He just did what Fury and Wilder did in an afternoon
Hes a big star but he doesnt draw huge in the markets that contribute to the recorded PPV numbers, Conor fight aside. Like I said in the other post though, I fully acknowledge that the PPV markets are obviously a tiny minority of the people who actually tune in for his fights globally.

It is some fans who absolutely HATE these threads and I totally understand why, it is a Boxing Forum and most don't want to talk about UFC on their BOXING FORUM!

With that being said, I think it is good that this conversation continues so that hopefully Boxing will Wake Up and start delivering what the fans want CONSISTENTLY so that the Sport doesn't Sink any further.

Some solutions is just to put more big fights on TV especially on FOX and ESPN for now! I think it is great for the sport in general to have good fights on Big Networks consistently instead of putting just Average Fights on PPV. PPV's don't have to go away but need to be used BETTER and fighters need to understand that if they want PPV then they're going to really have to step up in a major way and take major risk and fight the toughest fights of their careers if they want that big PPV Money

Once again with UFC PPV they only roll out BIG CARDS and BIG FIGHTS. On UFC PPV it is typically Champion vs #1 Contender every time but that #1 Contender is typically coming off a big win to get his shot at the Champion which makes the fight with the Champion even bigger. I just want to see boxing do more of the same! If Promotions don't put EGO aside and start working together more to give fans big fights, this sport will sink even further and they're all going to struggle to make money even more as UFC continue to rise while Boxing Continues to Decline

lol, I love how some idiots think they can try to convince others what they should find as entertainment in their life. Like you hold the right answer. How about, some people don't give a ***** about your opinion or what you're into? Did you ever think that could be possible? That people can have their own thoughts on what entertains them?

Heck, I've been finding arm wrestling matches at the highest level the most excitement on youtube lately. Never in a million years I'd imagine that. Yes, I've tried watching MMA, it just doesn't do it for me. I find arm wrestling more entertaining at this point than a UFC fight.

Everyone has their own opinions, and anyone trying to convince someone to watch something else is dumb as *****. I'd hate to be your friend in real life.

Pretty much. I still prefer boxing as a sport, but the ufc has done it right.

                      Ufc is accessible unlike boxing

It takes work to find a place that broadcasts boxing
