Should be noted that UFC 256 pulled 675K buys despite main event having a 3PM EST start time. Which makes it even more impressive.

Crazy isnt it when you really think about it. Imagine Conor is a champ, Khabib is a champ, Poirier is a champ and Gaethje is a champ. Then they talk a bunch of **** to each other from a distance for years while defending their belts against guys like Beneil Dariush.

Thats basically what boxing does to itself.

If boxing did away with rules and allowed kicking and wrestling.......

Meh. Those who want to switch sides, no one is holding you back.

This is what PBC is trying to do. Although it’s handled by morons, with no fate in their fighters, creating a dragged out cold war instead.

Does there even need to be sides though? You can be a general combat sports fan who prefers the UFC but still follows boxing intently.

That's the combined number, domestic and foreign. It did 500K domestic and 175K international.

Per the UFC, it did well below expectations. They were predicting well over a million buys just in domestic sales alone.

Its definitely well below projections. Khabib while clearly being well known hasnt shown himself to be a proper tangible PPV draw other than when hes facing Conor. On the other hand though, outside of North America and the UK where was it even on PPV? i'm guessing not in Russia or the vast majority of countries.

Yeah, I was a boxing fan first like a lot of MMA fans. Then I got into MMA and K-1 in the 00s. K-1 was actually my favourite at times, its a shame it never blew up like it deserved to.

As expected, all the insecure children from the new boxing fan group call UFC gay.

That's why the UFC are crapping all over boxing, their fans aren't insecure little *****es.

Brother Khabib is possibly the biggest star in the UFC and has done incredible numbers all over the world and smashed conor in the biggest PPV fight of all times

                      He's a draw.

He just did what Fury and Wilder did in an afternoon
