But yeah, no, this isn't for undisputed. Sulaiman made a mess of things. Bit of a disservice to the Franchise Champions as well as Haney and Charlo if you ask me...
Did you watch the video? Go to 4:35. Here it's timestamped below just click play. ''...4 belts on the line for the Undisputed Lightweight Championship..''

Sulaiman, the President of the WBC, the guy who gives them titles, himself said that Loma is the WBC champ, whos approvement do you need if not Sulaiman's, Loma never lost it or gave it away, he was elevated to a higher status (similar to what they've done to the wba and super wba not long ago)

ESPN should promote this rad little guy: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0o..._jyGCbkriWto9w

He'd do a better job of commentary than half their team I bet. Someone in the industry make it happen!

I got a Green K for saying Loma is undefeated!
Check this timestamp below, just click play. The thing is this whole time for months I assumed the Lopez fight was unifications for the WBA WBO vs the IBF while Haney TECHNICALLY had the WBC (given the context on what we know of the Franchise). Therefore exactly what is EPSN promoting with this ''WBC'' belt?

so if Loma is the ''Champ,'' what was Jermall Charlo defending against Devry?

We Be Crooks fuxxed over everyone with this bullchit, delegitimised the regular belts, undermined the status of the franchise champs themselves and screwed every ranked fighter by basically telling 'em their hard work don't mean shit when it comes to getting a shot at the 'man'. Personally I think they screwed the fans too, but I gather some folk still think this nonsense will make it easier for the 'best to fight the best' despite the lack of evidence.

Dudes who benefit are the Crooks 'emselves and the promoters, maybe Canelo or Loma some too, but both of these are guys who'll pretty much fight anyone anyway.

This is my dream team for the main event card tomorrow: Christina Poncher as the lead, along with Andre Ward and Chris Algieri. Give the undercards to Bradley and company.

Christina is the best commentator and play by play on ESPN Boxing.

BoxRec has no mention of the WBC belt on the line.

It’s just sad that Andre Ward sits there having to acknowledge that. These are the moves and placement for what we call “company men.” Job security over anything I guess.

But who knows, maybe should Lopez win he is technically the new Franchise Champion. That’s the insinuation, but they’re specifically not being specific about it to not confuse the audience.
