To get elevated and avoid having to do any mandos he had to drop the belt.

That's why Haney has it now.

The WBC said Loma is the champion at 135 and this fight will determine who is undisputed.

They also said Franchise Champion status can't be lost in the ring.

Let me know when they get their corruption stories straight.

                  Well that's changed now also
If Lopez wins, he becomes Franchise champion

The logic being that if you can beat a Franchise champion, you deserve the recognition as it

So the WBC has two titles now, like the WBA:

WBA World Champion - WBC World Champion
WBA Super Champion - WBC Franchise Champion

I’m not a fan of WBC who by the way allowed Floyd to write his own ticket while champion. It is what it is, they all produce too many belts for sanctioning fees.

Haney is the WBC champion, Loma-Lopez is for 3 belts plus the ring!

If they want undisputed then they have to go through the treacherous path towards Devin Haney!
