We can be critical and joke about Fox not acknowledging WBO Champions but ESPN does the same dumb shet because its defacto sports platform is so mainstream and commercial that it doesn’t care for the purity?

There must be consistency. If the WBC Franchise Champion and its perk doesn’t have to do mandos then it should mean that he or she isn’t the real champion. Does this mean Lopez automatically becomes Franchise Champion should he beat Lomachenko? What does Haney become?

Lomachenko is the “Franchise Champion.” But ESPN just calls him the “WBC Champion.” If that’s the case, how come ESPN or PBC don’t acknowledge Canelo as the True WBC Middleweight Champion?

The inconsistency in boxing is beyond ****** and writers don’t play their part with opinion. Though they tried and you don’t want to get blacklisted... I guess that’s it’s easier to say “there’s too many belts in boxing..” to prove a point
