Someone needs to ram a beef patty down Whytes throat. Breland did his thing in the welterweight division, but the way he was crumpled by Starling and Davis highlighted his flaws, flaws that don't need to rub off on Wilder.
I can't believe I'm the only one that thought waaaay before Breland was let go that he wasn't the continuous best fit for Wilder. Although a very nice guy, Brelands limited..... He had his time with Wilder to give all he could give, and as far as Wilders concerned theres nothing left to glean from the man - and theres no crime in that.
I met Mark when he was attempting to be a coach in the Olympics - in other words: trying to get a job. He simply has to look for another gig. Wilder doesnt owe him anything - he already gave him a GREAT opportunity - AND earned him millions!.....
Wilders definitely not getting rid of him just because he stopped the fight. And Wilder sure isnt obligated to adopt him because his haters believe he was "saved" by him - to possibly save him again....Comment

True. It's up to Wilder though. If he isn't receptive, he could have the best of the best trainer and still stink up the joint.
Wilder became the people's champ and king of the division. Problem is, he started believing it and got away from what got him here.
We will see!Comment

If Wilder fired Breland just for throwing the towel, that is a bad move. If they are going to replace him with someone who they think will add to Wilder's diversity, I am will to accept that. Not sure how much he can do, but I can accept that.
Having said that, Wilder needs to fire the whole bunch of yesmen around him. This is his career rescuing fight. He should out of Tuscaloosa and go join some major Gym where he'll meet better trained and better skilled fighters. Maybe join Reynoso or someone else that has champs. Move out and spend some days like an amateur trying to learn rather than being a champ who thinks he just had a bad night. Then we may see something exciting.Comment

lol what does his pro record have to do with his ability as a trainer? those are two separate things, some trainers never fought at all, and most of the top trainers were not top fighters.Comment
