Yes he's an all time great if you assume that there are at least 200 or more all time greats mostly far better than he. The chutzpah to crown himself before the REAL fighters of the past. Of course if he didn't, I don't know who else would, excluding a few deluded Mayweather fan/cultists, who know little or nothing about boxing.

There is only ONE Mayweather booster that I respect, for his honesty and boxing knowledge and that is Larry (of the often changing second name) presently calling himself Rushmore.

As for me...well it's like Santa came early this year, so all I can say is..."Ho Ho Ho".....!!!

    Otherwise

Too much insecurity lead him to even include Menayothin in the conversation

          That 54-0 convo affects him...

I am not even sure Mayweather is in top 10 at 147 all times.

Yes especially when you consider that 12 of Robinson's 18 losses came after age 40, a few more around age 38-9. When he was just a month or so under 40 he fought what the powers that be decreed was a draw against Fullmer, but which I scored 11-4 for Robinson as had many ringsiders.

But the powers that rule boxing were determined to get rid of him from the Championship scene, They never forgave him fro defying them, and walking out on the Basilio rematch when it was signed sealed. but not "delivered" before Robinson demanded-and got $500.000 for the fight. I distinctly recall the film of Basilio stamping angrily from the signing office cursing all the way, and swearing never to ever fight him again. Basilio hated him publicly for ever after. He was a disrupter, and near his boxing end,

please stop it pretty boy was an avoided fighter, the only fighter imo he ducked was paul williams, sergio martinez.

i disagree with him comparing that he beat more world champions with past fighters because every tom diick and harry is a world champion now, but no one can doubt he's tbe skill wise and financially other than that SRR is tbe imo.
I like Mayweather but he should keep his mouth closed when criticising the dead. You can’t question his skills in the ring and his dedication to his craft . If critics and fans want to talk about this Asian dude being TBE let them. I’ve never even heard of him

Floyd also a lot of the time did petty things because he was the A side. Like the entire debacle with Maidana’s gloves. Floyd should likely be on a top 10 or 20 best ever list but he definitely shouldn’t be ahead of fighters like SRR, Ali & Leonard. They fought & beat better overall competition. As I said, he chose money over overall legacy as a fighter.
That out of his prime De la Hoya was huge that night. I suppose he went back into his prime when he fought Pacquiao years later? There is not a fighter on this planet that has not had at least one debatable fight that could have gone either way. Fighters are entitled to a few off nights in a career spanning over 20 years. I do agree with the everything else you wrote. Mayweather makes the top ten Atg list. It’s not just him beating so many World champions it’s the ease in which he beat them which is why he is in my top 10

edit: if pac-may fight happens right after cotto and may got the win decisively then i myself will highly recognize him as tbe.
Huh but Marquez knocked out PACman between that time so the fight need marination again. That wasn’t Mayweather’s fault

For example., Tyson stopping Holmes in 4 in 88, isn't the same as him doing it to the 84 version, its just not.
Yeah I can reason with that
