You have all-time great fighters like Willie Pep, Archie Moore and Sugar Ray Robinson with over 200 professional prize fights. These men should be considered the best ever.

Any fighter who can accumulate 100+ wins has a high number of bums. You can't find that many credible opponents to fight.

      Check it out.

Floyd is in the conversation as one of the greatest and I think people would be more happy to acknowledge it if he wasn’t beating his own drum about TBE after he’s been retired

I always felt after the dust settled from his career and he steps out of the limelight, even those who never liked him would over time start acknowledging what a talent he was.

Instead he comes across as a bit insecure that can’t just let people make their own judgement, which makes people not be objective.

In his era, argument can be made. Goat? No.

Menoyathin being better than Mayweather is mostly a joke, I doubt anyone except those with the biggest Mayweather hateboners actually believes that for a second. It seems to have gotten under Floyd's skin though. He's really not handling retirement gracefully at all, he can't stand being out of the spotlight. If I were him I'd be fine with nobody even remembering my name so long as I had his massive pile of Scrooge Mcduck money.

It is when your career spans 25 years across multiple weight divisions and fighting 8-12 times per year. See unlike the divas today fighting once or twice a year in 10-12 round matches with 3 knockdown rules, refs stopping fights, etc warriors like Pep and SRR fought 15 rounds just about once per month, opponents and themselves knocked down dozens of times within fights.

I’m guessing you know little of boxing history beyond present time to say such garbage as what you’ve posted.
