Boxing as a sport in the US and Canada is on life support. It is now at its lowest point in popularity all time. It will eventually fade completely into non televised club shows as casual fans no longer care and the TV execs know this.

From my understanding doesn’t every American high school have a wrestling team? Wrestling is a popular sport worldwide. All the kids and teens or uni that have such teams are automatically followers to MMA.

There are more followers for grappling than the actual striking.

Then imagine all the people worldwide that like martial arts, kicking, Taekwondo, etc...

MMA is a very well thought out sport/business model.

Boxing is a completely different sport, but thankfully it has its history and will live on tbh

I would think they would put it as non-PPV if they know this, the fact that we use to laugh at MMA, and now we cannot compete against them, have to move cards because we know we are giving fans s hitty fights, while MMA are putting out competitive matchups that fans actually called for.

It is a shame what boxing is doing to itself. If you put on fights that the fans want then they wouldn't need to move card or getting scared of MMA/UFC cards.

As much as I dislike Rick Glaser he said it MAY have done 100K buys but PBC will come out with a bigger number. & that the 200K number floating around is comical.

To be honest UFC's been outdrawing all but boxings really big ppv's since the Ortiz/Liddell/Couture boom period which was about 2005.

Same here. I figured between 75k-100k
