      Well according to the PPV the money is not there. PPV took a loss, Charlos didnt even make more than their guarantee.

        That sounds disappointing considering it featured TWO Charlo brothers. Numbers would be much lower if the card featured a SINGLE Charlo.

          I won't lie, I would watch Adesanya, Jones, Conor, Usman, Khabib, Masvidal and Zhang Weili over any boxing match. But you cant blame these low numbers on the Ufc. Jermall fought before the main event and Jermell fought minutes after.

            I swear to God, boxing fans will complain about anything.

            The brothers had guarantees of $1mil and $1.25mil. Card probably ended up costing $4.25-4.5mil total.

            Card ended up generating... roughly that much revenue.

            The Charlo brothers got paid exactly what they were worth, fans got a fun double-header of boxing, and Haymon got to keep building his fighters and put on a nice little card in the pandemic without losing money.

            Yes UFC does much better than boxing. Different sport, different advantages and challenges.

            Everyone wins here, relax.

              $7.5mil ->

              $3.8million ÷ 2 ->

              $1.8 million per Charlo

              Break even to pay all other fighters, fees, etc... reduction cuts ..

              Would’ve been out of Haymon’s own pocket or guarantee, regular show on Free Showtime. Means Showtime wasn’t interested in paying for the fight.

                Where are the official reports for this? Showtime wasn’t paying PBC premiums during a pandemic. Haymon surely told the Charlos “look your guarantees will be cut about 40%, we funna must do a PPV.”

                      Its hilarious people are now saying oh that's what we expected, so many on here were talking up this PPV like it would be monstrous. I saw people throwing around 300k - 800k.

                      I thought it would do around 150 personally, they are barely names and they didn't have big name opponents. Honestly it shouldn't have been PPV, probably gets 3x the views free on ESPN or a similar level of exposure.
