What BS. Dervancheko had wars with jacobs and GGG. Charlo won GGG and Jacobs leftovers, Dervancheko was shopworn. So according to you I guess Charlo shouldnt get much praise beating a non elite fighter in Dervancheko
    OK got it.

I agree. Derevyanchenko gave Jermall Charlo the toughest fight of his career. Up until now; No one has ever been able to back Mall up on the ropes the way Sergiy did.

However, Mall was just too big and strong for Derevyanchenko. Also, the scariest part of it is, Jermall Charlo did not appear to even try all that hard. He was very poised and calm throughout the fight.

He refused to get ****** him into firefight with the much smaller Derevyanchenko. He stuck to the game plan by sticking with the jab and landing the one twos behind them.

The fight was much closer than the scorecards indicated but charlo did handle derevyanchenko better than jacobs or ggg.

No, I never said that. He’s a tough tough fighter but he isn’t elite. Everyone here knows HHH lost to a non elite fighter in Dervy and got his a@@ busted by him. He also lost to Jacobs. It’s obvious you didn’t see the fight last night or watched it through those rose colored goggles because he was far from shop worn; he was cracking. However Charlo had his number. Charlo’s fighting style is perfect for his build.

It's good to see that the majority in here understand that being the best is not by self appointment. If Charlo wants to ACTUALLY be the best he first needs to ACTUALLY fight to be the best and win...
Devery has had the DECISION go against him twice not necessarily the same thing as being BEATEN!!!

He should DEFINITELY have gotten the decision against GGG!!!

Charlo on the other hand beat Devery clearly.

He got beat up much less than Golovkin, and his punches probably did more damage despite less landed. I’m pretty sure the weight of Charlo’s punches is the reason for the “schooling” or “dominant” win. But he won by thereabouts the same margin Golovkin and Jacobs won.

Personally had Derevyanchenko winning, but am Curious to see where Charlo takes this momentum. Derevyanchenko was PBC/Haymon. Where does he get his next good opponent?

No they weren't. If you thought this fight was even you should stop scoring fights. You obviously lack credibility here.

well at 160, what's left outside of andrade that'd be considered a step up? Canelo seems to have abandoned 160. There's always ggg but he seems ripe for the taking and I'm thinking dazn would want another dazn fighter to get that scalp as opposed to a pbc fighter.

Charlo made a statement that he belongs with the big boys and deserves a mega fight. As for being the "best at 160" well, everyone has an opinion and talk is cheap.
Hope they can make a fight with Canelo or Golovkin and maybe Jacobs might consider a big payday at 160. Boxing needs big fights.

Agreed, but I still want to see how they handle that type of problem posed.
