Exactly, that’s what I always told folk on here the last two years or so. No one gives Adams about dazn in the USA. This ain’t the uk. No one cares about snooker, soccer, darts, highlight sport shows, curling, or any of that stuff. Dazn was a joke from the beginning yet the British eddie Hearn militants who love vicariously through his IFL TV exploits kept trying to push that junk all

I don't know what you are talking about. I watch fights regardless if it's Canelo or not. I live in the US. I know of alot of BOXING fans who enjoyed getting regular feed of boxing cards via the DAZN app.
The amount of cheerleaders out there that root for the demise of a promotion or a broadcaster cracks me up.Comment

Homie I understand that but those are one off events.Canelo sold out Madison Square Garden when he went up to the northeast, bro. And he drew more than 50,000 down south in Dallas.
They damn well know who he is.
There is no other active fighter that would have been a better choice for this. DAZN just botched things badly.
It’s difficult, especially in the climate America is currently in, to center things around a non English speaking star.
I’m not saying canelo isn’t a draw, it’s just difficult to have him as the face of your network and sell subs in those areas.
I also agree DAZN is messing things up. No question there. They shouldn’t have centered it around a North American fighter imo. Just center it around AJ.
But I really think this is going to be good for him to leave DAZN in the long run.Comment

In the lawsuit it states they also tried to pay Canelo in stocks. And promising GGG the Canelo fight was the reason he signed with Golden Boy. GGG had Top Rank and PBC offering him deals.I remember loeffler saying that GGG was promised a Canelo fight. Was that in the GGG's contract, or was it just verbal musings? I also recall that half of the compensation that Golovking receives from the DAZN is in the form of shares of stock. I suspect that DAZN shares are worth about as much as a bucket of spit.Comment

Boxing nerds are insignificant. Canelo, the biggest name in boxing, could only do 600k US views against Jacobs at a price point of $10 -$20.I don't know what you are talking about. I watch fights regardless if it's Canelo or not. I live in the US. I know of alot of BOXING fans who enjoyed getting regular feed of boxing cards via the DAZN app.
The amount of cheerleaders out there that root for the demise of a promotion or a broadcaster cracks me up.
DAZN is basically irrelevant here and they will be even more irrelevant without Canelo.
It's over

Canelo all over dah news!?
Nope.
No one cares about Canelo. Poor poor Canelo. Everyone is being so mean to him. No one is bandwagoning Canelo because no one cares.
Say good bye to Canelos career and prime. Bye bye.
And still don't understand your 80s reference. But here's one you'll understand Mr. Mexigayboi.

Lmfao.GGG did refuse the 3rd fight. It is well known that he refused and stated he would rather fight the next contender for his ibf title.

Did you just get here yesterday? Because context is hard to understand.
Canelo publicly declined a third GGG fight after the 2nd saying
GGG is easy
I dont want to give GGG money
I dont want to fight outside Vegas
GBP promised DAZN a 3rd fight
GBP supposedly did this without Canelos permission
GGG did not decline a 3rd match because Canelo was not interested.
Feel free to look up anywhere in that article you posted as "proof" Canelo wanted a 3rd GGG fight.
To this day Canelo refuses a 3rd GGG fight which is what caused him problems with his promotions and is now why he is suing DAZN and GBP.
Its okay though. I know guys like you don't care about context only if it fits your agenda at the moment.
GGG ducked Canelo when Canelo didn't even want the fight. Smart. Smart.Comment

Selfish AF! Doesn't this prima donna understand that things changed a bit when we have been under a world wide pandemic for 6 months ??? Live sports are completely shut down right now ffs! How did he expect DAZN to license a fight ten weeks ago???
Everyone has to roll with the punches except this ignorant twerp I guessComment
