First I thought it was. But i kept rewatching a KO all over again. Povetkin perfectly knew what he was doing. he moves left, and than jab, followed by a huge left uppercut. He saw Whyte unprepared and did this. Boxing basics actually, but very effective.
It was not a lucky punch at all

Whyte was the favourite. People on here called it a cherry pick. And in the context of the fight Whyte was well on top and had just put Povetkin on the seat of his pants twice.
If that's not an upset, what do you call an upset?Comment

The notion that Povetkin is a cherry pick for Whyte is ****ing hilarious honestly. It just goes to show how overhyped Whyte was. Whyte should have been the favourite but it was 60/40 kinda margins. There was nothing hugely surprising about Povetkin winning that fight. Whyte is not Fury or Joshua.Comment

Anyone that thinks that was a lucky punch, doesn't know anything about boxing. Before that punch, Pov was dropping his shoulder, he was going to Whyte body but not coming up stairs, but prior to the KO punch, he did that same move but wasn't close enough. I think the shock in the fight wasn't because Povetkin KO'ed Whyte, it was the time that he did it. Whyte just had his best round in the fourth round and then blam he was out cold.Comment

Some people are dumb. I thought Povetkin was a risky fight for Joshua when he beat him. Not sure why not looking good against guys like Hughie and Hunter made Povetkin shot in some people's minds. Those guys aren't easy to look good against.Comment

I don't get that at all...Pre-fight i said Whyte shouldn't have taken this fight.
The only idiots who called it a cherrypick were the same ones who called Ruiz a cherrypick. For one, Povetkin is a great amateur and pro, he might be 40 but he has the experience to go with that 40.
The same people who hype up Luis Ortiz who has achieved nothing as a pro or amateur. Watch how everyone else cherrypick who they fight, We have Ruiz coming back and fighting Arreola.....Comment

No offense and I'm glad you've now 'seen the light', but it was painfully obvious to anyone with at least 2 working f__king brain cells that it wasn't an accident. How the f_ck do you accidentally set up an uppercut with a jab while circling round your opponent and slipping past their punch to find that opening?
'First I thought it was' sounds more like "I went along with what the media shills were saying because they are obviously knowledgeable and important people".
'Accidental', 'lucky' punch... give me a f__king break. The amount of ******ity in this world is enough to drive me insane, I may as well walk around with skid-marked underwear on my head to fit in.Comment
