The main problem with Taylor is that she jumps in face first with her flurries and then relies on her head movement and footwork to get her out (which usually works more often than not), and it leaves her too open. She also seems to be having some issues with stamina too; she looked gassed by the fifth round. You could hear her breathing heavily and almost gasping for breath in between rounds while Persoon, considering her work rate, could control her breathing a lot easier.
I still think Taylor beats Serrano in much more convincing fashion though. Styles make fights, and Serrano doesn't have the physical advantages that Persoon had.
And she just faced that and came through it, if a bit awkwardly.
I'd love to see her up against a pure boxer. Would be a hell of a fight.

Persoon can barely box. Taylor deserved to win the rematch, but is more than a little ****** for getting dragged in, for a second time, into the fight that suited Persoon.
Taylor can box and has good feet. Persoon is much bigger, has a great engine, ,likes to wrestle and is properly terrible when it comes to boxing.
The strategy that Taylor should have adopted was clear -- stick and move, Though there are many on this board that would claim this is 'running' or 'getting on the bike'. I like to call it 'boxing'.

But yeah, huge for the weight.
I think shes maybe had 3 fights at super feather, the other 44 at lightweight....you might want to look up the meaning of "most"
It seems you enjoy working from inaccurate data. Also doesnt change the fact that Serrano is pretty .much a career featherweight, which was the conversation I was having, and you butt your nose into. Persoon is big and strong at the weight, Serrano is not, it's a totally different fight. Taylor is also a big lightweight.

Another robbery, Taylor really can't handle pressure. She looks good until the distance is closed and her opponent is letting her hands go. Taylor loses all composure and is all over the place, wide open and getting caught with almost everything. Feel bad for Persoon, she's been done by matchroom judges twice now.
