We'll soon see if these Teo defenders would have the same passion defending Golovkin when he asks for more money in the Canelo trilogy. We'll see.

Both fighters agreed to no interm fights.
ESPN gave Bob 4.7 million for the fighters.
Original split was 3.5 and 1.2.
Lomachenko took a reduced purse to relieved the company and make this fight. His contractual guarantee is more than 3.5 million.
Teo complained and does not have such guarantee.
Bob said Teo needs to understand that this is not pre-covid and could not meet their financial demands which Teo Sr was on record saying 3M+
Team Teo threatened to kill the fight and fight their mandatory.
Team Lomachenko said if Lopez doesn't want the fight they would look elsewhere too.
Team Lomachenko gifted Teo 250k to make his purse an even 1.5 in an attempt to save the fight
Team Lopez accepted.
Lopez is a nobody and he got cornered. "Hold out for your worth"
Might as well get as much when your career is going to be ended Oct 17th right?
Arum acknowledged that Lomachenko and Lopez accepted lower purses for their bout than they expected to make before the coronavirus crisis changed boxing’s economic model. Top Rank’s founder pointed out, though, that the Ukrainian southpaw and the Brooklyn-based knockout artist still will receive more money than the minimum purses to which they’re contractually entitled.
Loma is not guaranteed to make more than $3m per fight dumb dumb. He has a contract minimum which is clearly less.
He didn’t “gift” lopez anything. Lopez rejected the 1st offer and got himself 20% more than the initial offer.

I LOVE College Football but with some Conferences Canceling and/or Postponing their seasons this is GREAT for Boxing! Now ESPN and FOX will need Programs to fill those Dates so this is a huge opportunity for boxing to put on some good fights on Big Networks

All he did was negotiate for what he believed was a fair amount. What kind of person gets mad at someone for doing that?
Also. feofemale insulted everyone with his "1.25mil is not enough for food".
If he looses, nobody will ever give sht about him until he beats a true champion which won't be easy at 140. Nobody will ever give him props for beating 15 bags.
