You calling them out in the other thread was gold bro👍
what crap people talk on the internet means absolutely 100 percent nothing. it is for idiots like all of us to talk about. if he wouldn't have taken the fight and we called him a coward and replayed some whole duck narrative, that means what? nothing. he takes another fight, loma takes another fight we b.....h and moan and call him a duck. they get paid and may or may not fight later. some other fighter does something we don't like and we trash them and completely forget about teo until his next fight. that playground/ social media tough guy s...t is exactly that s....t. irrelevant s...t at that. prize fighters fight for prizes i.e. money and maybe belts. "if the money isn't right there might not be a fight" period end of story.

Canelo called his bluff and gifted him MILLIONS to make the fight happen because Canelo actually cares about legacy
Funny funny. Its funny how your two comparisons aren't even close.

Canelo was forced to pony up the money because no one in their damn mind had Canelo winning the first fight.

Also consider that GGG took a smaller split the first time around and was blatantly robbed.

Also consider Canelo got busted for PEDs.

GGG was also the unified undisputed best at 160 and just like him everyone else knew he had won.

Are those comparisons even close when arguing Lomachenko vs Lopez? Lopez doesn't even hold a candle to GGG.

No. So why bring it up? Lopez is a nobody who has done nothing.

And canelo cares about legacy? Right? Thats why when no one thought he actually won the 2nd time he blatantly refused a 3 fight proclaiming he had won easily and let negotiations fall apart because he didn't want to fight outside Vegas?

And now there's talk of GGG vs Canelo 3 in 2021 when GGG is 39 damn! lmfao.

Canelo thought he could cherry pick Mayweather. Then GGG.

The 2nd fight against GGG was so easy that he didn't another one.

Despite the fact that Canelo vs GGG sells.

Despite the fact it was "easy"

Official score cards read 115-113x2 and 114-114.

Sounds like any easy fight huh?

I would have loved to see Canelo cement his legacy by getting a true W over GGG but the guy doesn't want to. PEDs stain his legacy. Shoddy score cards stain his legacy.

But he cares about legacy right? Lmfao. Wrong comparison.

Easy. By boxing. Don’t stand in front of him. You can’t hit what you can’t see. Loma could make Lopez miss a lot of his power shots and as the fight progresses in the later rounds that power wears off along with Lopez’s stamina and confidence.

Why would "neutral" fans not like Teo because he asked for more money? The people that have criticized Lopez on this board mostly seem to be Loma fans. They surely aren't "neutral".

All he did was negotiate for what he believed was a fair amount. What kind of person gets mad at someone for doing that?

Yea it shouldn't, really any fight shouldn't be PPV right now.

Just give us quality fights consistently through the lockdown.

This fight being rescheduled couple of times just seems like a sign that it's just not meant to happen.
Damn man, how about a little confidence in things working out?

Terrible comparison. Loma made the accommodation when he didn't have to because he was completely in the driver's seat. Canelo may have been the A side over Ggg but mostly everyone thought ggg beat canelo in the first fight. So much so that canelos own Mexican fans boo'd him in the ring during the post fight interview. Then he got popped for PEDs. Canelo would've taken a huge hit if he didn't make that rematch happen and ggg definitely deserved that % cut. As the A side Canelo hasn't done anywhere near the same ppv numbers with anyone else as he did with ggg. So business wise when it came to Canelo repairing his damaged reputation and also financially, it made all the sense in the world to give him 45%

i am amazed at old bob playing everybody again. bob wanted to put this fight on espn ppv just so he would not have pay the fighters. espn said no. we gave you an 10-15 million for all those extra bubble cards this summer during covid. we you know you did not spend more than 5-7 million on those cards. we know you are sitting on 7-8 million in profits from us. no ppv you pay for this fight, espn will give you some money for it but that's it.
bob goes to the fighters and says no ppv so paycut guys. teo takes most of the proposed cut. teo says okay f.....k it we fight later give me a mando then. loma, who basically got his ppv (not regular fight) minimum, says cool teo,i will give you 200k from mine. so bob who wanted to pay 4.7 million for the fight is pretty much still paying 4.7 million for the fight. bob suddenly today comes out praising espn for making the fight happen and bragging about the fighters still getting the same total.
espn is probably giving the both fighters a 300 k backend check if the fight does well. (it will, what the hell else we going watch with no college football on a satuday) now teo 1.8 and loma 3.5 or 3.6. 2-1 split but espn is paying up the difference instead of bob. bob pockets whatever amount he intended to pocket from jump.
before you people start with the but no gate feel sorry for bob it's no gate. no event costs, stadium or event expenses. the gate is only 1/3 1/4 of the money in a televised sporting event. SO bob is putting on a big tv event for the same event cost as a bubble fight but make major tv event profits. HMMMMM!!!!

lol i'm trying dude but notice how we get closer to the fights then we get news at the last minute that the fighter tested positive or got sick. it's happened many times but i'm glad that they worked out the negotiations, now they just gotta get past covid and not get hurt
