Hats off to Loma for making this fight happen. The haters will hate and the purists will appreciate a man putting legacy before money. Loma's resume is the best first 16 fight resume ever in the history of professional boxing. Nothing more could be asked of the man. He's gone out, ready to go out on his sword everytime. Those that 'understand' boxing will write in the annals of boxing what Loma did here this week with praise. Non of the nay sayers and little minds chirping thier hyperbolic but...but...but...will have any bearing. Fact is he is the most exciting and skilled boxer to come out of this generation and he's showing his dedication to the sport and legacy. All these small, inconsequential voices, are not Lopez fans. They are jealous detractors who are here to try to do damage to Loma's feats, with out of context cherry picked and myopic statements. Fact is, Loma will be remembered as one of the best ever and we get to see this man in the now. The Messi in boxing. Accomplishing something only last accomplished by the great Pernel Whitaker.

Now within grasp, Loma has to beat Teo and bring it home. It's the final stretch baby. It's the final piece to a goal he set years ago.
