Floyd never really fought anyone near their best post-Corrales, apart from maybe Cotto.

Calzaghe's adaption vs unbeaten Kessler (no blueprint) to unify all four titles and win over lb4lb #1 Hopkins (Floyd was retired) for Ring belt at weight above and the performance against Lacy (winning every second of every round almost) trump any of Mayweather's adaptations, wins or performances ever. He also had 20 title defenses against all styles and dominated fighters of superman stature in Eubank Sr and Jones Jr (not saying they were at their best, but of their stature!).

So it's Calzaghe for me. He proved he could get off the floor to win too, win with literally one hand, all sorts.

Jeff lacy has no notable wins before or after calzaghe.

Lacy resume says he is trash . But calzaghe fans love to hype him. Lacy lost to a 60 year old roy jones ffs.

Floyd win over corrales is better than any calzaghe victory including that razor thin win over b hop

Funny thing about both fighters is that they fought hardly any undefeated fighters. Kessler for calzaghe and Alvarez for mayweather is about it and thts tail end of both fighters careers. Dno if that says much but just an observation. Look at Billy joe saunders for taking 0s

Floyd is the bigger name so he stays at the forefront of people's minds especially as he likes the limelight and is talked side by side by our friend Pacman..

Both have records not to be sniffed at, although Floyd has made the Zero some sort of holy grail for all the boxers over actually achieving something..
