Floyd lost to Castillo and Maidana, old faded blown up short armed Oscar deserved a draw.

Shane and Oscar and Pac were 10+ years past their peaks. Eubank, Reid and Hopkins put in their best ever performance AFTER the Joe fight (Thompson II, Ottke, Pavlik).
So Oscar who had more fights at 154 was blown up but not Floyd who was fighting at 154 for the 1st time???

and short armed Oscar??? he had a longer reach then Floyd.

Manny was 10 plus years past prime?? yet he was p4p
#2 and a world champ...and 5 years later is still p4p and a world champ...

yet somehow you wanna ignore the fact Joe went life and death with a guy over 40?? and Eubanks was kiterally done..you have to be trolling

Oscar did not have a longer reach than Floyd! He was a left hooker who got close and square - Floyd's arm length from wrist to shoulder was measured the same as Wlad Klit.

Oscar peaked in the early 90s at 130 etc. He was clearly past his best above 135, Mosley too.

'P4P' isn't real. Pac was clearly at his best in the early 00s vs Barrera and Erik at 126

They both peaked from 130 to 147-154.

Great fighters have a peak that lasts most of their career, peak is not a one off in atgs like an average guy, for them its a period of time lasting many years .

                This isn't even close lmao

Only people who would think Joe's even close are part of the Calzaghe Cartel or people from the UK etc.

And no, I'm not a ***** or think he's even close to TBE.

A lot of Uk fans have a crazy "Us vs them" complex.

Super defensive of their fighters and sensitive as Hell .

It's actually the opposite. UK fans underrate and undervalue UK fighters massively, its the defeatist attitude.

                  Calzaghe was phenomenal.

Floyd was always behind Hopkins in lb4lb lists in 2004/2005, when Floyd was at his peak. Hopkins was even better vs Tarver, Winky, Pavlik and Pascal than he was before.

Tall, rangey guys? Woodhall, Brewer, Bika.

Short, squat guys? Giminez, Mitchell, Lacy.

                    Counter punchers? Eubank, Hopkins, Reid.

                    Brawlers? Brewer, Mitchell, Lacy, Bika.

                    Boxer-punchers? Eubank, Kessler, Reid.

Giminez went the distance with Eubank and Benn, had Duran down early and fought in front of 60,000 v Roldan. Joe stopped him.

Woodhall was out-boxing Keith Holmes until his elbow went and out-boxing Roy Jones Jr in the second round of their Olympic semi.

Brewer beat the **** out of Echols before being robbed, Mitchell stopped Liles, and both as well as Starie and Reid were robbed against Ottke. Sheika and Starie were better than Glen Johnson and Clinton Woods, beat them well.

Yes Joe had some terrible defenses and performances (Thornberry, Salem etc) but he kept winning.

And we know Roy was rated #1 lb4lb when he beat Clinton Woods and far lesser fighters than Calzaghe's opponents.
