What else is new? You have to pretend you want to play with the big boys. And when offered the fight you say, "I was just kidding." In short, you find a way to opt out of the fight.

Yes, they are all a bunch of *****es

They're even worse than Teofimo, because beating the face of boxing would give you HUGE rewards

So you agree that guys like smith and Ryder should take whats offered and if they when they can double it?

Smith does deserve more imo , cause Ryder is living off a supposed win lol
Didn’t Smith agree to 6 , why hasn’t anything been announced
And personally , Lopez only has a win against Commey , which happened so quick that you really can’t get a read on him
He could be a flop like he can be the goods but not really in a position to be calling shots

The problem is not even a teofimo is confident enough to do that. The precedent in boxing is that all the “top challengers” are almost like a union in how they never really gamble on themselves and instead hold out for purses like they may never fight again after the fight. A lot of them share managers. The guy that will take “short money” and still draw enough to make the promoter and fans happy rarely exists. Also harder to sell a fight when u have keep telling the opponent he isn’t worth too much and has done nothing to deserve the big pay check all while trying to sell it to the public at full price. Sadly, holding out has usually always worked and an opponent who does it usually gets rewarded for it. If the fight does big numbers to the point it looks like u got well underpaid, then what? U and ur whole team look ******. That’s why the history of boxing is opponents getting well overpaid. Cause truth is that scenario is still worth it to the A side, who is making way more still. Takes two to make a fight, the champs need opponents. In the end all boxers get paid, the fans get extorted. Geez people think Mike vs Roy will be anything. There’s no outcome that would hold any significance.

                  True

A persons own perspective may lead them down the long road. Not necessarily the wrong road.

A guy in his position will find out if he can command the money he's commanding.

Pride tends to muck up many a situation.

Ask for more and the worst that can happen is they say take it or leave it.

Loma deserves these fights in order to transition from just a very good boxer to great. Hopefully in order, although I can't see it. Don't lowball his opponents:

                    1. Lopez (I wanted it to be Davis first.)
                    2. Davis
                    3. Stevenson
                    4. Garcia

Maybe Haney later if he can survive this line up. These are the young guns I've been talking about since 2017. Don't derail it.

                    War Boxing!

Unknown isn’t the same as drawing power. He draws more fans to msg than Loma does. He is from the ny area and has a huge following in the Latin community.

His compensation should reflect that, right?

I’m not saying it should be a 50/50 split but he is a champion in his own right. if you feel champs should get more, the split should be a little better than 75/25 right?
There's not going to be any fans so what does it matter?
