Here's what makes no sense. DAZN just acquired rights to BKB stateside and then the soccer league in Germany. So why should Canelo take a pay cut here when he is responsible for DAZN USA? The lack of gate revenue here does not fly at all. Canelo shouldn't be talking any pay cut.

I dont think theyre directly telling him to take a pay cut. I think the issue is DAZN arent giving GBP more than $40mil for the card, but then they arent going to approve a Quigley to make the budget work. Smith will get approved but thats $5/6mil, and blows the budget, gate revenue would have covered the discrepancy.
