I guess we would have to know all the different criteria for criticism...generally a flat out KO is a pretty decisive victory. Hard to argue with a stoppage unless you want to nitpick about size and weight, or age difference...

Sometimes its more than nit pick, sometimes its genuine reasons why the KO comes, people take for granted that everybody is at their best when the bell rings, many times thats not true.

Hopkins over Trinidad... To some (not me - I was riding with Nard from the beginning of that middleweight tournament), Tito was gonna knock B-hop out - he was looking unstoppable, and had his Puerto Rican crowd firmly behind him in NYC, plus so many wanted to see Hopkins pay for the flag incident. The Executioner beat him up, beat him down, and knocked him out.

Thats what happens to most WWs that fight MWs .

The one that really stands out to me with fans is they pay no attention to weights and matchmaking. It really is all about names.

Timothy Bradley Jr over Marquez, who was coming off the back of the best win of his career. Nobody can say JMM was past it, too old, too small. Great win for Bradley Jr and sealed his legacy (I don't believe he beat Pac).

Ward over Froch. Best two in the world (Froch proved that against Bute) fighting to crown a new lineal champion. Ward won comfortably against another fighter who will get in to HOF.

Haters find excuses for all his big wins. From Corrales to Castillo to De La Hoya to Marquez to Pacquiao. If you try hard enough you can find a reason to discredit anyone. That’s a valuable lesson you can learn from Mayweather. When you are the best people will constantly discredit you and throw shots at you because they hate the fact that you are successful and they are not. Simple as that.

People give credit when they want to and discredit when they want to. You can poke holes in anyone’s resume or best wins. For example if you beat a young hungry guy they say he doesn’t have enough experience. If you beat an older guy they will say he is too old. You can’t win with these kinds of people. If you walked on water they’d say you only did that because you can’t swim! Lol. Negative people are never satisfied and never will be. They are always unhappy.
That’s the truth. I’m a Floyd fan, got to see him live once. When people say he never fought anyone in their prime ( and people say that ) then using that same calculation it reduces so many other boxers careers at the same time. How long is someone’s “prime” ? Is it a specified age? Is it when they are deemed to be at their best skill wise? Can one person have a longer prime than someone else? Top boxers fight once or twice a year. Fights are hard to make, always have been. Everyone fighting are different ages. How does any fighter fight all their opponents in their supposed “prime” and somehow be always in their “prime” also so there’s no argument? It’s impossible. So many people use “Prime” Mike Tyson as an example, to the point kids today probably think that’s his first name. So if Mikes “Prime” was a two to three year window while he was so young how does that work into the calculations for everyone else? How many fighters are at the top at age 20? They say every fighter Floyd didn’t fight is the one who would beat him. These same people already got it wrong too many times to be valid. All picked Manny to win. They all picked Tyson to beat Holyfield too. Bet against Floyd, u lost. Can’t wait to hear about “mythical margarito”.
