If Trout and Lara gave Canelo fits I'm pretty sure that Andrade would too. I also think Jermall Charlo's chin, athleticism and power would be a tough style matchup for Canelo.
Canelo has improved immensely since his fights with Lara/Trout. Against Lara he had to chase him down all fight and he has worked on his footwork and his cutting off the ring. Andrade would have to do the same thing to survive, run all night but Canelo is stronger, wiser and smarter than he was when he fought Lara.

Mexican's love to hate on each other. They hate to see another Mexican succeed while they make excuses as to why they are poor.

If I was ranking him right now I would not say he was the best Mexican ever but he is slowly working his way up there. He is still young and has a good 6 more years to fight. In those six years he can make another 10 good fights and even if he only fights the best contenders in half of those fights that would still be a good resume in my eyes.

Canelo's double edge sword is that he was just a young kid when he became a super star and since then he has been compared with the best in history. People forget that he is still young and learning and growing with each fight. Maybe one day he will be regarded as the best Mexican ever, maybe not.

                It's his opinion.

There are a plethora of truly great mexican boxers and I don't blame him for struggling to put Canelo over legit menaces in world boxing history.

It's fair. As well as the p4p debate. Wasn't Crawford p4p #1 for a bit anyways?

The problem lies with quality of fights. His huge deal is hampering him imo. He's going to have his way picked through that deal because all involved away from him want maximum revenues for themselves. They won't stick him up constantly against the best fighters over his deal because he loses the first one and possibly 2 and he's finished. He's a hugely popular figure in boxing and the one people want to fight simply because of that imo and it brings them big revenue's. His promotion team don't have to do anything other than reap the rewards of people wanting him. His team pay the fighters low ball money because they know someone else will take it.. and they all make a fortune...
