Canelo will never shake the huge elephant in the room. The rigged scorecards, the peds, the diva and weight antics.

At middleweight Canelo fought Golovkin twice as well as Danny Jacobs.
Jermall Charlo, Callum Smith, Billy Joe Saunders, and Caleb Plant have all received offers.
Who are they keeping him away from exactly?
Nacho seems envious.

Regardless of what you say Canelo has too many controversial fights to be pound for pound. You need to dominate fights and come out convincingly as the winner consistently not leaving people thinking you were favoured. Look at people like Roy Jones and Mayweather, you might not like their style or personality but you can’t deny they beat their opponents.
I agree Khan should count as a loss. Damn "Lucky Punch"!
Who else??? Both Cotto's?

I agree with Nacho. You can call it what you want but what elite boxer has Canelo fought in his prime? None that I know of, except his only loss against Mayweather of course. His best wins are against past their prime fighters who Canelo was able to avoid while they were in their prime due to the politics of boxing and the corruption of the commissions and boxing "authorities" involved.
I still think he's a great fighter but his achievements have been blown out of proportion because of his bias fan base making too much of him rising in weight to fight at SMW and LHW. He fought a eurolevel fighter at SMW in Fielding which proved nothing and he fought an aging, alcoholic in Kovalev at LHW. On top of that, when he was at LMW, he was cheating to get down in weight and still fought at catch weights. This doesn't make him the best Mexican boxer ever. He's nowhere close to Chavez Sr., Zarate, Olivares, Marquez. Maybe one day but certainly not right now.
