Yeah I told some boxing friends I was thinking about betting on Canelo to beat Floyd and I was laughed at soo hard...Good thing I listened to them.

But whoever told Canelo to try or let him think he could outbox Floyd should of been slapped upside the head.

So you would prefer me to say that Canelo with his 40+ Fights is a good excuse for me to say he was “green,” when the “GOAT” is the “best fit Welter” of our era that he couldn’t forfeit 3lbs of water against Marquez and last minute has to do 146? There’s a reason why post Floyd’s weights weren’t officially disclosed per Haymon and TMT’s request. It isn’t realistic for a boxer whom can “easily” make 147 and not commit to a 144lbs agreement. The average water shed for all boxers across the board is 10lbs and they’re not even gym **** like Floyd.

Again, Floyd couldn’t do 2lbs for Marquez and had to change the contract last minute to 146. That doesn’t make any sense other than we are PROViNG that in particular instances boxers are lying about their seasoned ability at a class. It’s Canelo’s dumb fault for agreeing with 152 and it was Marquez’s GBP dumb fault for not putting in a major fine should Floyd go a pound+ over. GBP wouldn’t even care because they were in for their collection from the fight.

Canelo learned a lesson that depriving yourself against the best meant you will need to maintain stamina for 12 rounds of a good defensive fighter having you miss. I assure you had Canelo been 154 Floyd would’ve been in a tough fight. Canelo looked like Oscar vs PAC. Lethargy is a big thing. It’s the reason why I’ve been picking Canelo to beat Smith and Benavidez tbh

Canelo had no amateur background so he was using the pros to learn the ropes like a lot of Mexicans do. The amount of fights he had is irrelevant. He was green.

You’re misinformed. Canelo was saturated into boxing by his brothers. Most family of brothers whom are boxers learn the grit even before their teen years. Canelo was boxing with his brothers at the age of 10. By 12-13 he took the amateur route and was trained by Rigoberto. When Canelo started getting praise Rigoberto handed Nelo to the Reynoso’s. Rigoberto was already good friends with Chololo Larios.

The Reynoso’s took Canelo in two Mexican Youth tournaments, first was a Silver and then the following year he became Champ. It’s their world of the Golden Gloves. Just like PAC, Barrera, Margarito, Cano, they start young as Pros. Matured fast.

His amateur record was 44-2 with 12 knockouts. Look at guys like Yarde, Wilder, AJ, Feigenbutz orEubank Jr. started late in boxing but are fighting at the high level...

Therefore, Canelo wasn’t “green.” He was weight deprived, and his timid fighting was because he was lethargic just like Oscar against PAC. By green Canelo went after the “green” and sold out which is why he makes no excuses for his loss knowing he was weight deprived.

Shane Mosley had an amateur record of 250-16.

Oscar De La Hoya had an amateur record of 223-5

            Canelo’s record was 44-2

I repeat. Canelo had no amateur background. It’s why he fought the likes of 7-15-1 Fransisco Vallanueva 3 times.

Be real. Don’t lie. Don’t spin information.

What was the record of GGG’s first opponent given his 300+ amateur background while having won a Silver?

The problem is casuals thinking the amateurs is the pros. True Grit comes from the pro ring. A true fighter with a limited background can have more grit than a guy with 100 amateur fights. It’s the same dumb shet as sparring.

The Matrix with 400 am fights and two Gold gets bullied by a Salido? Geez you must wonder what I mean by grit huh?

Don’t expose yourself. Pro experience has more weight than the ams. They are not synonymous

You’re exposing your own self. Pretty much everything you’re saying is slippery garbage meant to keep you from looking like a liar. Canelo was green. He fought Fransisco Vallanueva 3 times in the pros.

                  Count em.

15 fighters in a row and none of them pick Canelo. To add fuel to the fire, the last guy asked is a dude wearing a Cinco De Mayo mask and even he admits this is a long shot.

                  Everyone knew Canelo was green.

I feel that its also part jealousy of the Reynoso's. It's one thing to say you don't think he is the top guy P4P, but to say that he certainly could NEVER be that guy is just pure envy.

Feeling like **** cuz Reynoso about to steal his seat as greatest mexican trainer and Canelo is way more popular than Juan Manuel... even with the Pacquiao KO to his name.
I hope everyone sees him for what he really is
