Right.. Again, you have yet to give your reasons as to why you came out of nowhere with this racist bull****.

You kinda remind me of 2tough, however 2tough at least answered from time to time and had somewhat of a reason for his claims of racism.

You? You're just a ****ing ****** who's saying this **** most likely because you have nothing else to say.

What I was asking is why there have been a recent surge of threads about him when just a week or so ago there was nothing about him.

I still haven't had that question answered.

Also, I was asking how people could think that Trinidad won the fight against DLH.

Yes Oscar ran, but prior to that I didn't see anything that Trinidad did to win that fight.

I hate most argentineans based on what I've experienced from the many of them I've encountered.

However, do I want them all dead like Hitler wanted all the ***s dead? No.

I think the term "hater" is a ****** ****** term which has no place in an actual and mature conversation.

If we were talking about pop rappers with school kids, then I could see where the term has its place and meaning.

When I say PR it's because I don't feel like typing out Puerto Rican and I only talk about Trinidad's rabid fans that way.

I don't make it my mission to go out and stalk each PR member here and give them **** for being PR.

No, I just state my opinions on Trinidad and that's it.

I don't like Trinidad and that's why I don't praise him like the others do.

I think he is overrated and very overhyped.

Gerardo is just upset over something insignificant which I still haven't pinpointed.

However, since his attacks are baseless and tired and just annoying, I'm starting to care less and less about getting an answer from him.
Well I cant answer for him, but I will try to give my opinion on it.
I'm on this site everyday, MANY times a day. I honestly have not seen any increase on posts about Tito till today. However, there must be a rumor going around, cuz otherwise there wouldnt be this much chatter about it. Whatever the rumor is, I havent heard it. What I have heard is that Tito DID refute any talk about him coming back in an interview on a Puerto Rican newspaper about a week or so ago. Unless something else came up since then, I dunno why the sudden increase.
I am Puerto Rican, and I can speak on behalf of my people that we are very proud about our heritage and we are quick to support anyone from the island who tries to make a name for themselves. I'll admit that sometimes, we are to quick to do that. But I dont see nothing wrong with being proud of a fighter because of that. It may come off as arrogant, but (and I can only speak for myself) it really is just pride in our people. I admit that there is a small group of us that are just on here talking **** and browbeating, but just like there is a small contigent of Pacquiao fans who do the same, as well as PBF fans, and so on.

As far as Tito beating Oscar..I had the fight close, but only because Oscar ran. Had Oscar not run, then obviously we wouldnt be having this discussion. But the fact remains that he did run and he did not fight the last 4 rounds and Tito did. Did Tito win? IMO, no..I had him still losing by a point. But I did see it close enough that a judge could lean the other way or give it a draw. But the fact remains that Tito won on paper, and Oscar schooled him early in the ring.

I dunno about Argentinians. I dated one awhile back and she was sweet to me...lol. But I've been dogged by lots of Cubans here in Miami, but I know I cant say that I hate them. I dont let a few bad apples ruin the bunch, to use an old cliche.

Hater IS a hip-hop word, but we are part of the hip hop generation. I talk the word for what it means; and there are haters out there, guys who dont like a fighter just because of who he is or who he beat. It's just a fact.

I'll take your opinion on Tito being overrated. However, I disagree with it. He is no more overrated that Oscar is. And I do not consider Oscar overrated. I consider Tito to have been among the elite fighters of his time, hands down. Maybe not the number one, but his name has to mentioned with them.

Thanks for responding in a way that Gerardo never would have or could be able to.

Initially, that's what my entire reason for posting here was.

I didn't understand why people were talking about Trinidad again and bumping old threads from 2005 and 2004.

I understand the pride thing, but as you've admitted, you guys can be pretty quick to do that stuff.

And, as you've mentioned, you have people who come on here and only show respect for PR fights and talk **** about everyone else.

          Especially DLH.

If they are going to call me a Trinidad "hater", why not acknowledge that they "hate" on DLH a hell of a lot more?

You must be light skinned or something.

Because a lot, and I mean almost all the argentineans I've had the displeasure of coming in contact with are ****ing annoying, arrogant, self important, disrespectful, racist pieces of ****.

Seriously, ask them what they think of brazillians and other "darker" latinos.

Oh and man do they say **** about blacks.

I remember a time when my employer(at the time) had ordered a box of eggplants and went around holding one in a paper towel saying "look at my negro baby".

She thought she was absolutely hillarious.

I'm sure that there must be some that aren't like that, but a damn good majority of them are like that.

I still disagree about the Trinidad/DLH fight.

I admit that DLH ****ed up by running, however, prior to that I didn't see anything that made me think Trinidad was winning or should have won.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't consider myself to be a part of that "hip-hop" bull****.

          Don't misunderstand.

There are some very talented hip hop artists, however, it's highly unlikely you'll find them on the radio or on mtv.

What you get is the bull**** that's affecting the minds of the youth today and making them illogical, unintelligent pieces of **** like gerardo.

So, sorry for not wanting to be a part of that or take part in any conversation in which the other person is acting like that.

I think Trinidad is extremely overhyped by his fans, don't you?

Hey no prob. I dont post much on here, but I am always on the site and I do see some of these arguments or comments just go down the drain to BS namecalling and Jr high school behaviour. I prefer to keep **** on the topic, y'know?
Anyway, I agree with your that Tito did nothing to win that fight. Oscar basically lost it, even though I admit that I still had it close enough to give Oscar a point up on the final tally. I agree that Oscar was giving him a boxing lesson, to use Oscar's own words. But Oscar himself admits that he should never have cruised the last rounds and would change that if he had the opportunity. He feels like he won, but even he admits that he shouldnt have done what he did, which tells me that he himself made the fight close.
But what I dont agree with you is that Tito is overhyped. The guy stormed thru the divisions till he got to Middleweight. The closest fight till that point was agaisnt DLH. Otherwise, there was no one on par with him. And like I said, I think Tito wasnt THE best (cuz I think DLH and BHop proved it) but he has to be mentioned in the same class. The shame is that they never had the rematch to prove once and for all who was the man in the division. Tito was never considered a boxer, more of a boxer/puncher. And as they say, styles make fights; and Tito/Oscar proves that much. As far as the Winky fight goes, well he just blew it there. I honestly dont know what he or his corner were thinking in that fight.

And for the record, I dont hate DLH. I think the guy is classy and hell, he's adopted the island as his home and hooked up with one of our most beautiful women. I consider him almost as much boricua as he is Mexican, at this point. (And no offense to my Mexican peeps out there, cuz I have mexican family members and I respect the Azteca fighters IMMENSELY!)

lol...damn! All I can say is I dated an Argentinian girl for awhile, but other than that, havent met many. So I cant really comment on them. But if your boss said that, thats ****ed up.

Nah, it's ok about the whole hip-hop thing. I mean, I grew up in the era and in Brooklyn, so part of it is seeded in me, and I know it's not for anyone. But I also know that if I wanna exude some kind of intelligent remark, it's really not gonna work. But everyonce in awhile, it slips in there.

Anyway, I guess we agree to disagree on Tito; I honestly in my heart believe he is among the greats, and not because of his blood. Had Tito been Mexican or Nica or any other culture, I'd say the same thing.

lol Thanks for the attention kid.

As for the last post, I actually did do some asking and looking at old stuff and found out that she was right.

As for my comments on the flag throwing and the pride parades.

Come on, Bernard did exactly what people expect in a fight.

If you hate the other guy, prove it, piss him off, **** with his head prior to the match.

That way it's so much easier for you to take advantage of his anger.

The pride parades are a bit overdone and I don't understand why there has to be so many.

From what I hear, it doesn't exactly please the people trying to get around in that city.

The judging remark, what? You're going to deny that?

Ask people about the judging in PR when it comes to a non-PR fighter vs a PR fighter in a fight that goes the distance.

More likely than not, you're going to get a decision for the PR fighter.

Also, mind telling me what the **** is so bad about this post?

                Overly sensitive little *****.

Yeah, I know, it pisses me off when the mexicans and filipinos do it too.

lol It's kinda crazy isn't it?

Mexicans/Puerto Ricans/Filipinos are all immensely proud of their fighters and countries and are always at each other's throats, yet never realize how much they have in common.

I know about Oscar ****ing up at the end, I've admitted that I thought it was very ****** of him to do.

What I have been arguing is that prior to his running/dancing in the last rounds, he was winning and there was no reason for Trinidad to receive that decision.

The things his rabid fans say about him, you can't help but think he's being overhyped by them.

He's a good fighter, I'll give him that.

However, I don't think he's the "best fighter of all time" as they constantly label him as.

lol Do you get along with your mexican family members?

Yeah, maybe you were lucky enough to find a good one.

But the ones I've been in contact with are all pieces of ****.

That's what I was saying, in a normal conversation, especially if you plan on being taken seriously, you do not use ****** or hip hop terms.

I'd be saying the same thing if Trinidad was mexican too, even if he was from my city.

                      Better than Sugar Ray Leonard?

                      How can you say that?

That's what I'm talking about when I say he's overrated and overhyped.
