When was the last time you watched this fight? If he wasn't hurt he wouldn't have lashed out with the intentional low blow and it was intentional. Hey I don't hold it against Tito...it was a genius move. He used the rules of boxing to his advantage and that makes him smart. I didn't blame Chico for spitting out the mouth piece either. The rules are the rules... so if you can use them.

I watch that fight all the time, these are two of my fav. all time fighters. I really didn't see it intentional, Vargas landed a good body punch and Tito tried to answer back under Vargas' guard, happened to be a bit low. I know some veterans do that and Tito is one of them as well, that's boxing, but this time it didn't look to me as if it was intentional.

I think SRL had the stamina to fight the DLH style for the whole fight without running the last 4 rounds and wins a UD. Overall though I agree that older fighters seem to get the benefit of the doubt over the new guys, but that is all of sports. Sometimes people just need a little perspective to realize how great modern athletes are.
yea playa you yield great points. As far as the head to head matchup between SRL and Tito, I would still have to go with tito...it was clear that hagler beat srl by applying constant presure..tito would indeed apply that presure...no doubt SRL was sweet..but it hard for me to place him or anyone else ahead of Tito as the best WW ever...

Hey if you back your opinions up with fact (like you do) I can totally respect that. Nothing wrong with rating him #1 all-time.

Rosewood, were back on the tito talk again. haha. I also think Tito's the best WW ever, and Jim "****rider" lamply made everyone hyped up that ODLH was winning the fight between the two. Listen to any match now on HBO, Lamply mentions De La Hoya all the time during other fighters fights. He must have a thing for him. haha

But really, I'm not PR, and not that shuld even matter, but Tito was deadly at welterweight. I don't think people give him enough credit at all. He gave Reid, Vargas, Carr, ODLH, & Campas there first losses of there career. And beat up Whitikar (prime or no prime its still Sweet pea everyone), Myorga, Barnes, Joppy, & Macho man Camacho. Tito had 35 KO's! haha I could go on forever...

Notice how none of Delahoya's punches landed? That pretty much described that fight. Delahoya threw alot punches but also missed alot of punches. It just looked good to most people.

Which also described the Whitaker fight. Strange how Trinidad came out on top of this one though.

You moron, thats just a small clip, what makes you think that **** happend through the whole fight? Oscar was landing clean shots and it was obvious, you prolly didnt even see the fight. And its also a highlight of Tito, but its too damn ****** to even make a highlight of him in that fight cause tito didnt do **** but get hit all the time.
