Oscar did not win more rounds so he did not win the fight. It's that simple.

Of course it wasn't the same fighter. Just like Vargas wasn't the same fighter when he fought Oscar than when he fought Tito (neither was Yori Boy Campas, Oba Carr, or Macho Camacho: fighters Tito beat before Oscar fought them

Gift Oscar decisions: Whittaker, Sturm, Quartey, and Molina. And, yes, Ike was dropped twice, but Oscar was dropped once and I thought Ike won 9 rounds.

    Quartey, 7 rounds to 3.
I wonder if your PR bias plays a role in the scoring of that fight.

Because aside from the running Oscar did in the later rounds, I don't see how Trinidad could have won the fight.

    I'm really not seeing it.

Everyone fights everyone's leftovers at some point in time.
It all depends on who gets them first and as we've seen lately, it's hard to put fights together.

Also, please avoid giving me that tired line of "Oscar beat people Trinidad destroyed" that's such ****.

lol Molina? What? Did you just watch the video "IWatchBoxing" made?
Because if you saw the real fight, there was no controversial decision there.

"IWatchBoxing" is known for editing fights to favor PR fighters.

Don't believe me? Watch some of them and then watch the actual full length fights and tell me what you think.

I still can't say much on the Oscar/Ike fight since it's been so long since I've watched it.

But, I don't remember thinking that Ike should have won it.

Well, good to see another person who thought Ike was robbed against Forrest.

It really says something when not only are the commentators and ring announcer confused and disagree with the decision, but when the ENTIRE crowd starts chanting "BULL****!" and the american fighter is booed on his way out in a match where his opponent was a foreigner.

I don't know how the hell people can get away with **** like that.

It's things like that that make boxing look bad.

^^^ I also think Ike was robbed in the Forest fight, I thought Ike comfortably won 6 rounds with 1 round being a very close swing round. But even with 6-4 plus the point deduction its hard to see how Forrest won.

BTW, its also not really fair to compare the Vargas vs Tito then DLH to the Whitaker vs DLH then Tito.

For one Whitaker didn't receive any damage in that fight. He didn't get hit much and what he was hit with weren't power shots. DLH took some juice off his punches just so that he could get some contact. Whitakers decline came from drugs not the ring.

Now Vargas and Oba Carr received beatings that sometimes you never really fully recover from. The Vargas that fought DLH wasn't the same Vargas that fought Tito. Just like the Vargas that fought Mosley wasn't nearly the same Vargas that fought either DLH or Tito.

Tito was awesome, but it's pointless to show "highlights" from the DLH fight. It was almost a shutout for the first 9 rounds, Oscar ran for the remaining rounds, but Tito didnt do much either.

DLH/Quartey was close, but that KD in the 12th sealed the deal for Oscar. Without that, it could have gone either way, that's how close the fight was.

I still don't know what reasoning they had behind their decisions.

They really ****ed over Quartey, he probably won't want to fight again, at least not here.

I know what happened to Whittaker and what caused it.

What I'm saying is that I'm tired of always reading that "Trinidad destroyed so and so before DLH got to them and that's why DLH won or won in a better or quicker fashion".

What about those who are actually "destroyed" by other fighters yet come back and prove that they were able to recover from that and fight the same way if not better?

It's funny that Trinidad fans are quick to call his critics "haters", when they can hardly bring themselves to give DLH any shred of credit or compliment.

Whenever DLH wins something it's either because "Trinidad made it easier for him", "DLH was lucky", "DLH is the better known and liked fighter and that's why he won".

I don't know about you, but I'm tired of that ****.

lol I think I pretty much agree with what you said in my thread.

However, I think instead of getting a UD, Duran would KO him.

As you said, sooner or later Duran's going to get him and the body attacks will slow down Whittaker quite a bit leaving him open for Duran to finish him off.

Don't try to twist the facts, you're not a critic, you're a racist piece of **** who's taking it out on PR fighters, doesn't matter who it is, because outside of the internet you probably don't have the balls to do ****, comprende? Its funny how you talk a lot of **** in the internet when no ones around to punch you in your mouth.

Ah, the ever over-sensitive, moronic "nut hugging" piece of **** fan.

See? That's the perfect example of what I was talking about.

Notice how he doesn't reply to anything I've said, instead he goes on with some nonsensical bull**** and tries to act tough.

Let me fill you in on something kid, I'm not a racist.

I hate ignorant people of all races.. well that and argentineans.

Also, guess what? I'm part Puerto Rican! Shocker, ain't it?

                  ****ing dumbass.

Btw, when have I said **** about a PR fighter other than Trinidad?

I don't recall ever having insulted Cotto.

In fact, I was pretty damn happy that he beat down that flaming mouthy jackass Paulie.

                      Explain your logic.

I've called Trinidad a *****, not all PRs.

Not my fault if you think Trinidad equals the whole of Puerto Rico.
