A rematch? First off what about the first fight warrants a rematch in your eyes and second exactly what weight would they fight at? 160? 168? Which would be a first for Mayweather either cause Canelo ain't getting no lower at any point ever again.

He learned he’s not as good a boxer as he thought. He’s a powerful fighter, and him imposing that is him at his best. I think Canelo only hit prime after Golovkin I.

That if he merely shows up to fight, he'll get at least a draw on one score card.

          Nailed the first part.
But the second part i agree with as well. It just seems canelo has no second gear or killer instinct if you will. Hes content with just going with a decision and fights at a regular pace with no urgency.

Lmao cmon man lets not act like canelo didnt get gifts
So you think the Canelo that fought Trout is no different 7 years later? SMH you straight hating. Lol.

A bought judge is the only way any one could score that fight a draw, it was a total shut out.

It's hard to imagine... the motives behind that score card.

That’s a craft based on seeing movement from your opponents legs.

Canelo has been doing pull uppercuts and Floyd’s style before the Floyd fight happened.
Nobody is saying that Canelo was without skill before Floyd. But the tweaks Alvarez made after that fight have taken him to another level.

I really don't think he has changed in any appreciable ways. He's the exact same fighter with the exact same style, he is just more seasoned. He had huge problems with the closest thing to Mayweather he fought since in Erislandy Lara. Throw that Mayweather in front of him again right now and the result wouldn't be any different.

The way I see it he learned that there was several boxing levels and class between him and Mayweather. Essentially meaning that he was not nearly as good as he thought he was and that there was still a lot of work that needed to be added to his game which he has done since then.

Without that schooling he very well could have become overconfident like he was prior to then and taken the Golovkin fight too early. He was never going to beat Mayweather, who is one of the best to ever do it, at the age of 23. That alone showed his own personal arrogance.

Here how’s this , just being in the ring with Floyd made him a better fighter
Just that made a huge difference
