What did Canelo "learn" from the Mayweather schooling?

Everyone says that same ****** ****. "Canelo learned alot from that fight" "that fight helped canelo be the fighter he is now".
Aside from being a diva during negotiations i just dont see it. He looks great against cherrypicks but against top opposition (lara, golovkin and jacobs) he doesn't exactly put on a great performance. A pretty average or decent performance I'd say.
So what did canelo learn from daddy froid?

I’m not sure how anyone could think a young fighter wouldn’t learn anything from going 12 rounds with one of the best in the game.

So your answer is he learned something but you’re not exactly sure what?

Lol wtf. Every time a boxer gets in with someone different, he sees different looks, nuance, tactics, etc. You mean to tell me canelo had “seen it all” at that point and gained nothing from being in the ring with mayweather?

So the catchweight really affected canelos performance and he learned that so thats why nelo added rehydration clauses against kovalev and jacobs?

Just because you fight a great fighter doesn't mean your gonna learn a few tricks. All fighters fight different styles. Not all fighters learn from a losing experience. If you learn after losing a fight then certain fighters wouldn't stay gatekeepers, journeyman etc

I guess what Pacquiao “learned” from Floyd was that the #48 experience got him another PPV with Thurman? What did PAC learn from Floyd?
