LMFAO! Two years later and these guys still butt hurt making up excuses... GGG fans are pathetic and give Wilder excuses a run for their money.

Yeah I think he has an excellent chance of beating Hopkins at Middleweight. Golovkin is clearly better than anyone Hopkins beat at Middle.

Hopkins was not an ATG MW..he is merely the co-holder of the record with GGG. Not sure how wins over JDJ (off a loss), multi-loss Squirrel, Bert James, Joppy, Lipsey etc. give him the appearance of an ATG. He beat Glen Johnson before Glen knew how to fight (Glen went on to lose to the great Merqui Sosa and the even greater Joseph Kiwanuka in his next two bouts...)
Could Hops beat G? Maybe. But he is just as likely to lose since after his loss to RJJ he didn't face anyone with the pedigree and power of a Golovkin. GGG did not face a murderer's row either, but his best wins and screwball draw are still much better than any of Hopkins' wins at MW.

heres the thing with b-hop and golovkin...

too many want to try to tie golovkin to hopkins...because of hopkins standing and stature in the sport...

if hopkins stopped fighting after his MW reign he wouldnt be a legend and his resume could/would be picked apart...its what hopkins accomplished and tried to accomplish after MW that makes him the legend he is....combined with his lil MW run

golovkin fans are desperate to paint golovkin in the same light by comparing MW reigns.....its not that simple or easy and doesnt work that way at all

hopkins isnt a legend of his MW resume alone.....dont forget that gggroupies

Truthfully, most people wouldn't cross the street to see BHop "fight".
