    It's a HUGE difference!

    22' x 22' = 484 sq.ft
    18' x 18' = 324 sq.ft.

That's an additional 160 sq. ft.

That's equels to basically adding another 13' length and 13' wide (169 sq. ft.) to the ring.

This was flat out intentional. They said no matter what AJ you can't engage. Stick and run... Don't stay on the ropes and always keep running. Punch, run, make him come to you. Punch, run.

They basically let the world know AJ is CHINNY!

There was a HUGE difference in the size of Andy Ruiz's belly too.

They needed a bigger ring so he could fit into it without bursting the ropes.

Yeah it's a shame too because a win (or even a more competitive loss) would have guaranteed him even more paper. Oh well, Ruiz can still make good fights (and money) if he decided to take his career seriously.

Ruiz on the other hand said he wasn't prepared properly, he claimed he didn't train, which means the money got to him. Which shows mental weakness to most educated people, that is NOT a bad thing, you can show mental weakness even in winning, AFTER winning he didn't think he should train for a rematch that would be life changing???
I personally think the way Joshua acted going into the ring at MSG showed me someone who was nervous and on edge. Then the result obviously showed dodgy punch resistance as well.

There were actually a few sequences in the earlier rounds where AJ tried to engage toe-to-toe after he cut Ruiz over the eye. Joshua tried to land something big to end the night early and Andy nearly clipped him. After that AJ smartly went back to fighting a fight that Ruiz had no chance of winning.

If Joshua had stood toe-to-toe and gotten knocked out again then we would have called him ******.

Also, if Joshua was that chinny and timid then Ruiz should have trained like an animal so he could go get AJ and force the action.

It's not a big deal at all.

Ruiz is younger and all he had to do was come to fight in shape. He was neglectful and is back to being a nobody again

                  Oh well

And this has been going on for decades.

Oscar used a SMALLER ring versus Floyd in their fight in addition to selecting Floyd's gloves

Ruiz wasn't in shape and that's on him. But even if he was in perfect condition that is one big ass ring.
