As I said I'm not a fan of AJ but I do think the first fight he punched himself out after the knockdown and got caught with an incredibly placed punch so the combo of the 2 changed the outcome that was intended by the odds makers.
A series of unfortunate events so to speak even if they were only unfortunate to AJ and all those rooting for him.
Just my 2 cents man. I could be wrong but that's what makes these conversations great to me.
Joshua didn't come to fight like in the first one.

He came to stick and move. And brought along a big ring to help him do it.

Andy Ruiz being severely overweight didn't help either but Andy only has himself to blame for that.

was 100% so Joshua could run all night.
The punch stats say otherwise, and not just because of AJ jabbing.

Joshua actually landed five more power punches while throwing 27 less. That's not a huge difference over the course of 12 rounds. I'm not saying Joshua wasn't on his bike but he did stop to return fire and the cut on Ruiz' eye was proof of that.

If Ruiz wanted a dogfight then he should have gotten in better shape so he could apply pressure and force the action.

No fighter is obligated to help his opponent's chances of winning.

So he can stick, jab and hop on his bike? I mean Ruiz pretty much told us Joshua’s game plan in the week of the fight. And he said he was prepared for that (AJ running). If eating pizzas and burritos all training camp is being “Prepared” then hope who are we to question that tactics?

Exactly, Ruiz said "I know Joshua is gonna try to box me around" and Andy prepared for that by eating boxes of pizza. He has no one to blame but himself for the outcome.

He's always had those issues. He is not really a live or die with boxing kinda dude.

I think he just tasted the money and it completely went to his head.

We all know that Ruiz turned up for a payday, not a win. Obviously he's going to say the right things before the fight, he wanted that paper.

He definitely handled the riches in the wrong way. He wasn’t mentally prepared for the sort of money he ended up with. Which makes him mentally weak..

Joshua wasn't prepared for the pressure of his first fight in America and his Madison Square Garden debut went horribly wrong. That showed mental weakness and a chin weakness.
