I didn't say he was running from Margarito. I said I would have preferred literally any other fight talked about. And since Margarito was one REAL possibility I would welcome that over this garbage.

I can name more than a couple fighters that could knock off Tony at 154. I can't name more than maybe 1 or 2 to do that at Welterweight. He is a different fighter at Welter.

Yeah, Bob said the offer was off the table. However if Floyd really wanted it, he could get it done for that price.

How does this prove any sort of point you are trying to make. Margarito moved up to 154 while he WAS STILL HOLDING A TITLE AT 147. Do you know why? Because no decent opponent at 147 wanted to fight him (Mosley, Judah, Mayorga etc). He may have come up a little short, but only due to a headbutt. If you watched the fight you can't honestly say that Margarito wasn't coming on to most likely win the fight (probably by KO). Spinks got KTFO by Zab Judah who Mayweather just beat. Spinks couldn't KO Zab Judah if he had a broken jaw. He runs around the ring like Jesse Owens that is garbage. Futhermore why move up to 154 when you're not the champ at 147 and the champ wants to fight you? Especially considering that you jumped from 140 to 147 without becoming the recognized champion (yes I know Hatton didn't want to fight but I can only excuse jumping divisions like that 1 time). So if you can follow that then you understand why this is garbage.

Actually guys the offer was put out a 2nd time for NOVEMBER. Floyd rejected the offer because "nobody knows who Margarito is."

were not talking about welter we're talking about people putting floyd down for taking on spinks at 154 (who came up from 147 and won a title at 154 and some are calling garbage and not worthy) but would rather see him fight marg who couldn't win at 154. so how can people put spinks down when he accomplished something that marg couldn't.
