Because he has a better chance of KO'ing him that way then with his fists.
      I see your point.
But let's get one thing straight, Floyd is going to lose alot of quickness going up to 154. HE HAS NO BUSINESS THERE!

Spinks is a very slick, technical boxer. Floyd is a master boxer as well, but without that quickness that he had at 140 he isn't going to be able to catch Cory as much as he wants to. Spinks is going to keep him honest and box.
We are talking about 2 pure boxers. 1 great boxer whose natural weight class is 135-140, and 1 very good boxer whose already had a good quality win at 154.

Shooot, I'm thinking the Margarito fight was a safer bet. And I thought that was dangerous.

Margarito hasn't lost in 10 years at WW. Spinks lost 2 fights ago to the guy Mayweather just dominated. What the hell is this guy thinking?

I think we can agree that the Cory that was knocked out in STL WAS NOT the same fighter we seen beat Mayorga, Zab the 1st time, Gonzalez, and Karmazin.

I knew from the get go, Cory was extremely flat and it was going to be a bad night.

I don't know I think Floyd will simply come into the fight under weight so I think his speed will be comparable to the Judah fight. And Floyd dominated Judah who recently KO'd Spinks. This to me seems like a mismatch on paper and that is why Floyd took it. Margarito is much more dangerous because at any point in the fight winning or losing he can KO you while Spinks HAS to win at least 7 rounds to win.

What round do you think Margarito will get KO'd against Paul Williams, The #1 challanger for his title.

I am going with the 4th.

I never saw the whole fight... being that I really don't like either one of them. On the other hand I remember thinking when I heard that he was distracted thinking that was BS. Maybe it wasn't. Nonetheless, Judah-Spinks I was much more competitive than Judah-Mayweather.

Even assuming that were to happen (which it wouldn't) what would that prove?
