What round do you think Margarito will get KO'd against Paul Williams, The #1 challanger for his title.

I am going with the 4th.

Paul Williams handlers aren't as ****** as you to rush him into that kind of a fight.

Seriously... I would contend more people know who Margarito is than Spinks. People may know the name Spnks but they're thinking of the guy who got KO'd by Tyson. Maybe Michael should have taken a page out of Cory's book and ran for 12 rounds.

I said it weeks ago, if Floyd was to fight Baldomir I would consider it a decent fight. Instead, it now looks as if he is about to fight Spinks. Having achieved little at Jr. Welterweight he moved up to 147 to face bigger names- fine. I'll let him off the hook...with little damage to his reputation. But now he may jump out of Welterweight, having achieved little, to fight Spinks? Baldomir is a better opponent. Spinks-Mayweather is a fight I don't care to see.

I have to agree, the average fan knows more of Cory Spinks because of the t.v. time he has logged in the past 2-3 years.

I'm not so sure about that. People who follow boxing know who both are. Margarito has a local latin fan base that a lot of people overlook. His last PPV gate was really poor because Klitschko bailed off the card at the last minute. Outside of STL who is going to know who Cory Spinks is?

I would have been okay with anything Mayweather did but this. It is like he is intentionally trying to piss off people who like boxing. Why fight this guy who has the least exciting style to hit boxing since John Ruiz? If he wanted to fight Baldomir fine (settle stuff at 147 by beating the real champ) or if he wanted to fight Margarito fine (beat a long reigning title holder who is a dangerous prospect). Fight DLH or Mosley or Rivera or Hatton or Cotto... pretty much anybody but this.

Casual observers of the sport like KO's which Margarito can produce. Spinks would need an anvil to KO somebody at 154

I didn't say he was running from Margarito. I said I would have preferred literally any other fight talked about. And since Margarito was one REAL possibility I would welcome that over this garbage.
