Froch gets right up my nose. Ironic, as you could use his as a double garage. The man is a first class tw4t. Joe would've schooled him. He was carping about how he'd have handled GGG recently, but back in the day he said he'd 'swerve him like the plague' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiEHWy72d3w

I'm not sure who would've won between the 2, but I do know that Froch showed heart that Calzaghe didn't. Froch was willing to face all of the best fighters of his era. Calzaghe on the other hand played avoidance games until he felt safer being that his main competition was over 40 and on clear decline.Comment

Calzaghe would have given Froch a boxing lesson. Calzaghe had no issues with Kessler i can't see Froch posing many problems for him.Comment

@It's becoming desperately clear to Froch that people look at Calzaghe as a legend , the very best undefeated fighter ever to come from these shores by worldwide fans alike.@
You may be right, there are some terrible schmucks out there. I hope most would understand that, for all his undoubted talent, Joe fought the lowest quality opposition that even a WBO 'champ' could manage for year after stultifying year while refusing Robin Reid a rematch after a gift decision & running from Glen Johnson like a rabbit from fox.Comment

What are you smoking bro? Calzaghe won all the belts at 168 with the exception of Ottke who refused to fight outside his home comfort.
Jeff Lacy and Mikkel Kessler were both undefeated and belt holders when they both lost their belts to Calzaghe.
All I remember of Froch is him getting schooled by Andre Ward. He also got beat by Kessler.
Calzaghe’s hand speed would have befuddled Froch. I do like Froch but would have never beaten CalzagheComment

yes kessley and lacey are nice basic names.... Don't hold torches to prime versions of Roy Jones, Hopkins or James toney though.————/

I would've favored Joe head to head in 08. That said, Froch went on to have the greater career.
Hopefully Hearn can pull both out of retirement, I'd love to see Froch handle business one last time.Comment
