Calzaghe's legacy has gained more traction, and respect among the boxing community 'Joe Calzaghe was undefeated, and rose to every single occasion' Calzaghe's win over Chris Eubank Senior was still one of his best wins, and there on after that he was facing many fighters who where former world champions 'It was a myth that he was facing unqualified opponents'

Note: Both Joe Calzaghe & Carl Froch are all-time greats, Froch should of taken the Golovkin fight 'I think this is what bothers him most'.
well that actually might be true but eubank was also completely faded when calzaghe fought him.

his resume sucks. who are you trying to fool? he fought like 3 top 5 guys in 22 title fights. that sucks.

And it is a good thread... empassioned but without the ******ity that goes with the fanbases of active fighters or dumb nationalistic rivalries.

ABRAHAM, KESSLER CO-FAVORITES IN SUPER SIX

        https://www.******.com/122133-abraha...-in-super-six/

Abraham (30-0, 24 knockouts) and Kessler (42-1, 32 KOs) are 1-1 favorites to win the super middleweight tournament, which begins Saturday. Carl Froch (25-0, 20 K0s) is 2-1, Andre Dirrell (18-0, 13 KOs) and Andre Ward (20-0, 13 KOs) are 5-2, and Jermain Taylor (28-3-1, 17 KOs) is 10-1.

Doug Fischer and I, co-editors of ******.com, have picked Abraham to win the competition.

It seems obvious that Abraham, of Berlin, Germany, and Kessler, of Copenhagen, Denmark, are favored because they are proven commodities. They’re skillful, tough and have survived numerous tests in their careers. Froch, from Nottingham, England, also is experienced but isn’t as polished as his counterparts.

Froch was a good fighter but one of the few fighters in this sport I just can't stand. He's such a bitter, deluded man. Calzaghe would have slapped him up and won an easy, wide UD

I liked Froch as a fighter but seriously, I think he may be autistic when it comes to Calzaghe.

OK so you value greatness based on fights press predictions, cool, I don't.

Check any reputable source. Abraham was one of the top favorites heading into the SS tourney. Were you not following boxing back then?

And rightfully so. He was a beast at 160 and reigned supreme before moving up. The first Miranda fight was his only hiccup

Btw, where did I ever call Abraham great?
