The vast majority of modern "scholars" come from Western institutions of higher "learning". Ancient Egypt was not part of Western civilization. Therefore, Western "scholars" have no right to claim themselves as the authority on anything belonging to Ancient Egypt - which itself belongs to traditional AFRICAN civilization. As such, what modern Western "scholars" have to say about a civilization which does not belong to them means less than squat. If you want to know the truth about Ancient Egypt then you have to ask the civilization which produced it.

Both can be true (and are true here), he fought off his back foot & had poor footwork.

He relied on his upper body movement and could appear elusive but his feet weren't doing much of anything.

those notions did not matter at the time

They don't consider Egypt black because DNA testing has shown the majority of the ancient Egyptian population closely resembled its modern population & wasn't black.

Most of this stuff is pretty much settled through DNA but the public continues to argue about it for fun I guess.
