Come on, fury won on the road and we know how hard that is to do at the best of times and ward was one of the most protected fighters ever, he even had all his super six fights at home!! Thats a massive difference right there.

But fury needs a few big wins i would say to cement his position, wilder again and then joshua, if he can do that of course

I'm not a fan of either of them, but I would say Ward has accomplished more. I don't know if that makes him a greater fighter on a P4P basis, but he is more accomplished for whatever that is worth.

It is a discredit to Fury to judge him against Ward, who is retired, while he still has a few more years left in the game.

I am a big Andre Ward fan and have kept up with him since the Kessler fight. That said if Fury does unify and string together a few more wins against solid competition then i would likely put him ahead of Ward.

The reasons being that Fury has gone into others territory and won which is admirable because if it wasn't then fighters would not complain so much or exhibit resistance to the notion of possibly having to do that. Also Fury getting clipped or hurt in fights does not effect ranking in my opinion. It is boxing, people get hit with good shots every now and then, especially heavyweights.

              New here...

But yeah, Ward all day for all the reasons already stated.

Right now the only objective answer is Ward. But if Fury should beat AJ, Usyk and the winner of the Joyce/Dubois fight thing could get interesting

Nah he’s ahead when that happens. You must rate ward highly to not think so.

I admire ward’s capacity to win no matter what it takes but his biggest wins came with controversies whether we like to admit or not. Dawson was drained, Kovalev arguably won the first one and the second one ended with low blows.
He edges fury now because of his body of work his entire career. Fury has the better sensational single win over wilder..

There’s a lot of reasons why ward never made it big albeit achieving a lot in his sport, and you probably know it already.

Was man enough to take that challenge as well.

Ward benefited from dubious decisions while Fury suffered because them too.

Fury has boxing skills, Ward is a spoiler who uses illegal tactics

                    Fury is levels above Ward.
Outside of the US, Ward would have lost both fights with Kovalev, the first on points and the second by DQ.

The point is I still picked WARD. Despite being a fan of fury. Didn’t realize you ward stans want me to go all the way and lick his balls.
Okay fury was dirty with the test. But ward is still miles dirtier inside the ring than fury ever was.

I don’t know if you guys could even admit that. Low blows head butts elbows super clinches rabbit punches. Ward is a master of all of those.
The question wasn't who is more popular. That's irrelevant. The fact that you're including that with this speaks for itself and proves my point.

You also ignore the fact that the Fury-Klitschko fight was considered one of the most boring fights ever seen.Yet you only point out how boring you think Ward was.

The bottom line is you're fake. You aren't being objective and your juvenile talk about"ball licking" doesn't change how fake you're being. I see right through you.
