Nonsense. Wlad missed more punches than he ever had in that fight. Yes, he was resilient and showed a lot of heart in that fight but his tools were not the same. Prime Wlad wrecks AJ.

As far as Wilder goes, I personally think that is a great win despite the gap in pure boxing ability. Let's not act like Stiverne is some kind of boxing prodigy. He was/is trash.

Now lastly, I don't have to defend Abraham, Kessler or Froch's ability to anyone who knows boxing over the last two decades.

Finally, It's clear that you cannot see past your fanfare for Fury so I'm out of this one. Bye

fury is on the level of Ward when he fought Allan Green, and has yet to go beyond that.

but he might, hes not yet old.

Ward fought a bunch of guys in their prime.

Fury ended Wlad's reign and then tested positive for something.

For many Wilder is trash but when it comes to jolting it to Fury's list it is a good win. Go figure.

At this point it HAS to be ward

cleaned out, unified 168. beat the living sh.it out of the #1 at 175 even though he made him come down. Then went on to beat the boogeyman of 175, twice. Fury beat Wlad, the #1 hw in the world and Wilder. Ward definitely is the greater of the 2.

            A few things here.....

Ward was literally P4P#1 at one time and Fury has never been in the top 10.

Ward has several times the amount of title fight wins as Fury.

Ward was the Champ in two separate weight divisions while beating the best fighter of both of those divisions.

Fury only has two title fight wins. One over an old champ and was popped for ped's at the time and the other over a puncher with very pitiful pure boxing technique.

Fury's last fight he was roughed up and nearly stopped by a B rated, nobody fighter.

Lastly, The same people who are now blowing up Fury's accomplishments are the same people who are giving Vitali no credit for pretty much schooling Lennox Lewis at 37, two years younger than Wladimir was when Fury beat him.

            This is total nonsense.

Learn some boxing knowledge and you might have better idea how to judge fighters.

Lol at the fact that you are even debating this!

I really, and no BS at all, feel bad for you.

Go back to debate class. You failed, embarrassingly.

Oh, that's sweet that you think that. There never was a debate, chief. You lost with your first comment. This was just me embarrassing another fangirl because I can.

I'm usually weary of P4P lists, regardless of which periodical or website is producing them. Ward never defeated elite level fighters IMO. He was a dirty fighter, a boring fighter and got a gift in the first Kovalev fight. What he did to Kessler with his headbutts and elbows was scandalous and he should have been DQ'd in that fight. Dawson drained himself to fight him, and Froch was really his best win. At LHW he never fought Stevenson, Beterbiev, Bivol, Gvozdyk, or even Hopkins. I believe he retired prematurely in order to avoid them.

I also find Fury to be highly overrated. He has good movement and quickness for being such a large man, but on a P4P basis he'd get smashed in lower weight classes against much faster opponents. Wlad was washed up and Wilder was and always will be a hype-job who was finally exposed.

Ward only agreed to take part in the super 6 tournament after he was guaranteed that all his fights would take place in the US. After the tournament ended he was offered career high money to rematch Kessler in Denmark and Froch in the UK, and he turned both offers down.

The difference between Fury and Ward is that Fury can beat the best in his division anywhere on earth, Ward couldn't do that.

Fury's win over Wlad easily tops Ward's best wins, and the same can arguably be said of his win over Wilder.
