So yeah that is different then, purposely ranking a boxer just so another "Hyped" boxer can fight him and use that to justify the fight is what they did with Kownacki and Helenius.

They purposely place Helenius at number 6 in November in the WBA rankings, when he had NOT beaten anyone to justify that rankings, the only justification there was to make Kownacki picking him look good.

What I'm saying is that they took an unranked Price and ranked him for the Eliminator. Same thing they did here when it was Breazele/Kownacki originally, and they suddenly ranked Helenius

I don't know if he is ruined. He got beat. He still has huge support from his Polish fanbase so he will always fill seats. He is also great on TV.

As for Callum, if he never gets a Canelo fight, I am just wondering if the same thing applies.

Yes. He advised Smith during negotiations to not move off a number that would cause the deal to fall through. Instead he allowed BJS to take the fight for a lesser amount.
