I agree 100%. There are too many good fights to be made in the HW division right now for the top men to be fighting each other twice or even 3 times in succession, especially with mandos queuing up for their shots.

Least 2 is better than 3. They've made Fury have to beat wilder 3 times. As if 2 isn't enough. One by decision and one by knockout. Fury is at 100 percent so he should best Joshua easily

Undisputed really has nothing to do with it. Wilder simply wasn’t/still really isn’t a big draw. You’re supposed to give a guy a cut of the UK PPV when that guy isn’t going to boost those PPV sales? Makes sense. $15m two years ago...and Wilder has only POTENTIALLY made more than that once, in the Fury rematch LOL such a lowball offer, right?

And don’t even try and bring up the recent PPV numbers, without Fury he’d bring in the same as the Ortiz rematch. What was it again? Absolute maximum of 270k (inflated number to save face)? LOL yea Wilder really contributes.

Funny how you skipped over the $100m DAZN offer though. $40m per fight for two fights with AJ? Lowball is it? Wilder probably hasn’t earned $40m in his entire 12 year, 43 fight career. Baha

Idk what AJ can do that makes him the favorite here. He can't outbox Fury in his dreams. He can't punch harder than Wilder. Maybe in that middle ground of being a better boxer than Wilder with a hard enough punch to end things there is a window to winning but I still see this as 70/30 Fury worst case for Fury.

Yea I'm not a fan at all. I dislike the concept 100% across the board. Let's fight once & go from there. Maybe we don't want or need to see it again, maybe we'd love to see it again or two more times.

This bs isn't about the sport of boxing it's about the business of boxing as too much is these days so we are arguing against the money of folks with skin in the game.

Only way i'd be cool with a multi fight deal is if it means one could be in the UK and one could be in Vegas or whatever which would give it the best of both worlds. Theres just no reason to have multiple fights though unless the first one is close and/or contentious, its not like there arent plenty of fresh opponents out there.

I think the most likely way I could see AJ winning is by some sketchy ref stoppage which would help sell the rematch & maybe keep a trilogy intact. Overall it feels like a 80/20, maybe best case 70/30 Tyson leaning fight.
What will make you say such a thing. The only tool Wilder has is a very potent right hand but that’s it. AJ right hand is not as powerful but he has a better left hook than Wilder, he fights better on the back foot than Wilder, uses his jab much more cleverly than Wilder, a better inside fighter than Wilder, has a cheeky uppercut has better defence and is stronger in the clinch. I’m not saying he can beat Fury but he definitely has more tools to be successful compared to Wilder

and the terms of those offers were so unfair that DAZN dropped Eddie from doing negotiations.

incorrect. Couldnt have bee for 2 fights with AJ, as AJ was booked to fight Miller/Ruiz at the time, and had rematch clauses.

"We must try and do that fight in the UK. Ask AJ and Fury where they would like it, and they would say the UK. We know there will be huge offers from around the world. Our priority is to try and make this fight in the UK.

Eddie Hearn knows very well that Fury said he will only fight in the US. Fury loves Vegas. Joshua won't agree fighting Fury in the US. Also, Fury has a contract with TR and if the fight takes place before the expiry of the contract, Bob Arum will want it in Vegas too. Big money is involved.
